View Full Version : I Have a Question regarding Static Shock

Okay, I know that Static is a DC character, but he's suppose to be from another universe, in the comics, he's from the Milestone universe. Batman is considered a fictional character in the universe Static is from. (Remember the "World's Collide" comic event back in the early 90s?) So, what I'm asking is, on the episode that Batman, Robin and the Joker will appear, are they actually going to crossover to another universe, or is it supposed to be the same universe, unlike the way it is in the comics?

The episode will take place in the same universe. The animated universe is very different than the comic universe, so changes like these are expected.

That's cool, that way they won't have to go into a big story about crossing a universe.

The animated shows are good for streamlining plot points just like this. Why have this big confusing cross-universe thing, when you can totally ditch it?

I don't know what you guys mean by "Batman," but Static Shock TV continuity is different from the continuity in the comic books. If you didn't see it on the show, it didn't happen.

Welcome Dwayne McDuffie! I can't believe you still check in on these boards. Ladies and Gentleman - this is the man responsible for creating STATIC! A nice round of applause!

Anywho, according to a script, Batman and Robin are scheduled to appear on Static Shock in the second season. This is what this whole thread is about.

What we're discussing is Batman's upcoming appearance on an episode of STATIC. According to a website report, Batman will appear in STATIC episode.

Do you think Batman would really stand out in this show? What I mean is, the art on Static Shock isn't as realistic as it is on Batman. I don't even think it's quite as realistic as it is on The Zeta Project. I know they made Batman/Terry guest on The Zeta Project, and it looked okay, but do you think they could do it on Static Shock?
