In the pilot episode of Smallville. Jonathan tells Clark he is an Alien and that the ship was in the celler. Since then, we have heard nothing else about it. Life went (kinda) of back to normal. I was surprised that the show did not have anymore scenes of Clark talking about it with his parents and or looking over the ship.

I suspect they are waiting for a ratings sweep period. That book they gave Clark will undoubtedly unlock some of the mysteries. I get the feeling they will be done as special episodes and used to try to get new viewers into the fold. And logically, that's the way it should be done. If they wait for sweeps weeks to unlock the secrets of that book, and hopefully to take us to flashbacks of Krypton, that would be a great place for new viewers to jump in on.

Yea, I figured they would wait for a sweeps to get into his true heritage. What I was concerned about. Is how he has been reacting to finding out he is an alien. At first he was very upset about it. But, a few days later he is worried about being able to play on the football team. I wished they would have waited to tell Clark he was a alien. Until they could spend time on his reactions to that revelation. The only reaction to it has been to blame himself for the meteor shower, not the fact that he is ET.

I don't know about you, but I want to know what that message says. And how will Clark read it?

Maybe we will find out that his parents put those Hooked On Krypton-phonics tapes in his rocket? And Clark will suddenly realize he learned how to read the book long ago? Or Braniac will come along and help him out? Or some surviving Kryptonians will discover him and help him out?

They need to get to that stuff pretty soon if they're gonna. Cause I'm about to quit watching it. Between the overuse of Kryptonite as a plot device to the villian of the week, it's getting old.
The writers should take a note from STAS as far as the Kryptonite. Also, I don't think his ethics fit Superman's at all. I could go on, but I won't. I will give it another week or two, though.
