Hey, I think you spelled feudal wrong in the location part of your profile.

Oh... Love Hina... uh...yeh. I saw the series, movies, and specials about two or three years ago. Nice series.

The guy who created it (and AI Love You) doesn't have a creative bone in his body. His work rips off other series blatantly, and he doesn't even add anything to it, other than mediocre writing and fanservice. I have yet to see a "character" of his that was interesting, likable, or original.

He is a tick on the anime industry's rear.

I read all 14 books, and thought the storyline was funny, it was kinda hard to focus though:D :D :D :anime:

As far as soft core porn goes, it's great, but as a story, it's pretty trash.

He is a tick on the anime industry's rear.Agreed, although Negima actually benefits from Akamatsu's gross unoriginality.

Neggy-who?

Anyway, even though I only skimmed through bits of the manga, I could say that it's better than the TV series. But the TV series was one big suckfest with only a few non-suck episodes inbetween. Keitaro was pitiful, and at least one big hunk of animation time was spent with him accidentally ogling girls or touching them in the wrong places and then repeatedly punched by Naru. However, I stuck with it, and now I'm glad that I've finished the entire series, and do not speak much of it again.

Long live Kitsune however.

Akamatsu is capable of originality! Negima! is a good example. (His publishers wanted him to make something like Harry Potter, so ignore that fact.)

Have you read the Library Island storyline? Some of the dumber students in Negi's class travel through the huge, trap filled school library in order to find a magical book that's supposed to make them smarter so they can pass their final's. English to Japanese Twister, anyone? They face trails that test their minds, including a game of Twister in which a giant stone statue gives them an English word and they must step on the syllables of the Japanese equivilant. It's pretty interesting...

I haven't read the manga, but I am pretty sure that it is a lot better than the anime.

I saw 3 episodes of the anime in Japanese. They were funny and enjoyable to watch. Haven't read the manga though.
