-I hope not...I mean, do you think I was too rough on him? I hardly meant to "smack him down". All I said was for him to cool it on the political stuff. Well, if he comes back, that's great, bit it's too early to tell. I've been gone for longer times than 5 days. Heathen's welcome to post here as long as he follows the rules. I do recall him being a bit angry on the feedback board for being banned from the "World's Finest" boards, that's the only reason I could think of for him just leaving. I was one of the guys who suggested he be allowed to still post here, since he hadn't caused a lot of problems for us. Or maybe he HAD, I don't know, I had been gone due to computer problems and came back surprised to find all this news about him being banned from the boards temporarily, and some stuff on the WF forum that was really inappropriate. He really did behave just fine as far as I knew, and that's the reason I voted for him to stay. Well, I've seen em come and I've seen em go. I just hope he hasn't left just because of my warning, but knowing him I doubt it.

No, I think you were fair Matthew. It was getting kind of out of control and I was hoping that one of the mods would tell him to "cool it." That's what mods are supposed to do, tell people when they are getting out of control, esp. when they continue to do the same stuff after warnings.

From what I read of it you seemed like you were quite fair with Dave (Happyheathen). He really loves to post way, way off-topic (everybody does it sometime, no big deal), but he was becoming chronic with it...

As to his 'having other commitments' elsewhere, I guess that's possible. But he is such a frequent poster (maybe almost a compulsive poster) that I don't think that's it.

I tend to like J. Lee's suggestion about Dave maybe hiding like this because of the continued high Bush poll numbers though... :) :) ;)
