I kid you not. Reports have it that's him (in the red circle) with his family in Sweden.

So was this picture actually in an ep of That 70's Show? If so, how did they incorporate it in?

That is reportedly a picture taken in the 1970s of Osama bin-Laden with his family. The fact that it is so gruesomely typical of 70's clothing was why I gave the thread its facetious title.

But that is a pretty funny pic. The bin Laden family from the 70s. I'll never look at him the same again.

I'm being careful to use terms like "reportedly" to describe this. I'll keep an eye out to see if it gets debunked. Unfortunately the original article was in Swedish, so I can't gauge its plausibility.

According to a story I read from the Observer (reprinted in Salon.com) Osama studied in Oxford with some other Arabic students back in the 70s, so it's entirely possible that he could be in such a picture. The pic does seem a little convenient... then again, everyone in the pic looks Arabic. We'll just have to see if it gets debunked.

He looks like Fez in the picture... so is this what sweet little Fez will grow up into?
