(Read on for a bit of speculation about this change of call letters...)

Cartoon Arcade

(pre-empted by an infomercial today)
(whether this is a positive or a negative depends on how you feel about the Filmation studio, of course)

Cartoon Junction

Screen Song: "The Lone Star State" (with Famous Studios opening only)

Merrie Melodies: "I Love a Parade" (B&W)

Goopy Geer: "The Queen Was in the Parlor" (B&W)

(Now, about this WFUT-TV call sign: Since all indications seem to be that there's a change to Spanish programming on the way, maybe I'm not stretching too far O/T to speculate that we Out Here might be in for a 24-hour Futbol channel ... all soccer, all the time! And just right for cable, eh?) (heh)

The Lone Star State was a rare cartoon, in which it had original titles (blacked out Paramount references), but with the U.M.&M. copyright under the title of the cartoon, instead of the end NTA logo. Was this still intact?

I think they changed the call letters to WFUT because the Spanish station that will be airing soon is called Futura (or something similar). I read that in the Post a while back.

To coin a phrase, that sounds logical. I guess there's always Manchester United soccer on channel 427, then ... (no nasty posts from to-the-bone soccer fans, please)
