I'm voting Outlaw Star, mostly because of the intro.

MSG. Never got a full run... again!

I vote for Tenchi Muyo! mainly because I haven't seen it for a very long time. It's also reminiscent of my Toonami days. It was a pretty enjoyable show that had quite a few loyal followers. Outlaw Star and Blue Gender are close runner-ups.

Yo, Lord Dalek you haven't voted on the poll.
Tenchi was my second runner up, but it doesn't need to return because it's already on the foreign channel.

Kikaider. I really want to see it again.

I'm pretty sure you all can guess mine, it's not on the selectable choices there however...even though I have the DVDs...and the box...and the soundtrack...I just want a kickass trench coat now...

Lupin!
How can you have this poll and not have Lupin!?!? I'm utterly and totally distraught that Lupin was not included. There wasn't a show more mistreated and less appreciated than Lupin, and I, for one, sir, am disgusted that you failed to recognize it in its full glory! For shame!

I want to see Blue Gender again mainly to see that little girl get snatched up like the last slice of pizza. Close runner-ups are OS, Kikaider and MSG.

It was between Outlaw Star, Reign, Tenchi Muyo! and the Gundam series. Gundam series was a no way because I only like select series. I never saw all of Tenchi. Reign was just plain freaky, so that left Outlaw Star and that's what I voted for.

You must mistreat it and not appreciate it because it's been on for about 5 weeks. and I, for one, am disgusted that you failed to recgonize that it's on! Your bringing shame to yourself!
Now I understand why you are in a constant state of embarresment!:p

bassist, Lupin is on every weekday.
I don't know what show you're talking about, artimus, but I thought I got them all.
I doubt anyone will vote for Reign or Pilot Candidate, but I included them anyway.

Ehh...I GUESS I'll just go along with Outlaw Star. It's really the only one I feel interested in giving yet another whirl at the moment.....but THAT would mean suffering through the horrific hack-job that was the Toonami broadcast...*shudder*

dunno for sure.. maybe reign.
perhaps seeing a run for xmas , even if only one more , would be a nice thing.. especially since it's the other best thing the guy behind aeon flux has done in animation.

Kikaider and nothing but Kikaider for me :) and include the OVA to!

I picked the Gundam series, but really, I'd like them to bring back Gundam Wing. Second choice is Kikaider, but only the series and not the OVA. (^_*)

Outlaw Star for me. That was a good series. Tenchi or Candidate would come in second.

07-25-2004, 11:23 PM
I picked the Gundam series just because I haven't seen most of them and would like too, but Tenchi would be second. It would be nice if CN was to aquire GXP from FUNi if they decided to show the other Tenchi's beforehand and let people catch up on the old and the new. Kikaider would be 3rd for me followed by Outlaw Star.

Kikaider. It was simplistic, twisted, and haunting at the same time. Just don't bring back the OVA's.....well, maybe except for the last five minutes of the last OVA episode.
Wounded_Dragon
07-26-2004, 12:36 AM
Kikaider without the OVAs. Even with the extra minutes put back in, they just don't rise above meaningless fanservice.
Although if Bandai someone got a decent dub of the restored MSG movies I wouldn't mind Gundam returning.

What is Superbook?...a way of not caring for any of the shows? And Hakusho...yeah that'd be nice.

I've got to go with Tenchi Muyo. It's my third favorite anime next to Dragonball Z and Big O. If it doesn't come back, then I'd like to see Tenchi Universe or GXP instead (it's been over a year; bring back Tenchi).
EmorynOglethorp
07-26-2004, 01:45 AM
I didn't really think to include Yuyu, since it's already on Toonami.

cool Kikaider is beating shows that have a chance and tying with shows that shouldn't be in the poll to begin with :) it is loved!

Well Tenchi Muyo would be good since GXP would be the likly favor in this, and just by knowing by it I voted for that series, wich now we are in a 4 way tie for 6 votes.

Well, if the question were, "What anime show would you like them to put back on?" then I'd answer "Outlaw Star," because I've only seen a handful of episodes and would be interested in seeing the rest. But since the question is "What anime show do you miss?" I vote Reign, because I actually watched all the episodes and so I can say that I miss it, unlike OS, which I never knew well enough to miss.

Pilot Candidate.....
I never watched it (except for bits of episodes). I know everyone proclaims it as a tick on animation's ass, but I wouldn't mind having it on TV one more time just to confirm all the horrid reviews for myself. I mean, I know it was "crappy" and all, but to see it for free, just to know how awful it was. That, and it would be a change of pace from the current shonen fest that is ASA (I use the term shonen loosely).

Tenchi Muyo! far and away of all of those.
("Pilot Candidate"? the armpit of the cable anime universe? never.)

Outlaw Star was actually an excellent show, even though after watching it uncut I couldn't go back and watch the Toonami version.
Don't ask me why.

A tough decision but I picked Outlaw Star but I would also like to see MSG. I mean I have the game Federation vs. Zeon and Journey to Jaburo and it also went half way through and then stopped. But I would like both.

Kikaider and Outlaw Star... but the one anime I miss the most on CN period is Rurouni Kenshin.

Tenchi Muyo. I just love harem anime.

Reign, for the simple reason that codpieces on men are funny, dammit.
Oh, and Outlaw Star.
Kikaider, because it got no respect.

Well, Tenchi is my favorite show but I don't really miss it because I ended up buying it (and Universe) and can watch it whenever I feel like.
So, Outlaw Star. Good show that I'd like to see again.

FLCL isn't on the poll? I don't know if they're going to air that again. I miss it. Even though I just need two DVDs to compleate the seires.
But going with the poll. I'd have to say Tenchi Muyo. Dispite the edits I liked it.

I'm one of a grand total of three people who voted for Pilot Candidate. I liked PC, but I mainly voted for it because I know it will probaly never be back, but if it did man it would be fun to see the Pilot Candidate haters on this site have their little hissy fits.

All of them except Reign and Outlaw Star.
Outlaw Star was good, but over-rated.
Reign was crap.
If the men in Reign had pants, I think it might be one of AS' most popular shows.
Just a thought.

Well, I know I've mentioned this before, but in the actual time period of Alexander the Great, many soliders were comfortable with fighting naked.
...and I'm positive you'd rather have the "Alexander" outfits than more accuracy to the source material.

Tenchi definately. Over time I've accumulated several or so random Tenchi graphic novels; they're pretty good. The guy who draws/writes 'um is great at both the humor and action parts that made me like the show :D
I miss having Yu Yu Hakusho on Adult Swim so much! I never missed an episode of YYH til they switched it to Toonami and at one of those times of the day I was busy...but now I watch it on Saturdays and I can always catch up what I missed through its manga :D
