It was two years ago today I joined TZ.

Egad! Can't believe how fast two years zipped by, NARF!

But as I reacll, it all started for me waaaaay baaaaaack....

I found my way to TZ via Brain Cruz's WB page. His page was on a links page of an A! website (the only working link on the page)
So, I clicked my way to TZ, and found the WBC BB. There, I saw there were others actively interested in A! and P&TB, as well as the Golden Age WBA.
I was lurking about for a couple of weeks, but finally worked up the courage to join this group (A little shy, I guess).
I remember such a warm, wonderful reception I got. :) At that point, I knew this was the place for me.

I also remember that TZ only had two boards at that time.
Look how it's grown in that time. TZ is up to (checks to see how many at the moment ) 16.
16? Egad! Did a few more pop in since last night? ;)

It's remarkable how much TZ has changed since then, and iy makes me wonder as to how it'll be like in another two years.

That was sentimental, alright. ;) Geez, TZ only had two boards then?! I came about a year later when there were.....how many? 8?

Actually, I'm also nearing my "Register to Toonzone" anniversary...

I know! Let's have a party!:D

One of my first posts back in 1999 (you remember that, don't you, kids?) was the idea for "Warner Academy"...and the rest, as they say, is history!

If I could go back over my years here, I wouldn't change a thing. The fact that everyone on here was still my friend after the debacle earlier this year that put me on an extended vacation from here (Board veterans will know what I mean) is proof that I love this board.

Sincerely,

John "Captain Caps" Kilduff

I guess I came here around 1999 as well, I had found the Termite Terrace Trading post a bit before then, never realizing that it would become a part of this site as well. I remember when therewas the WBC board and the storyboard, that was all. I, too, was impressed by the nice folks here. So now, I've joined up with the group.
