This is info released during the Q&A, as of now PPG justs has the episodes being shown of season 6. It's not cancelled, it's just not be produced as of now. KND is of course a huge sucess and a DTV is planned. Also the What a cartoon thing mentioned a while back, Bob said that the pilots won't necessarily air but they could. Time squad was brought up but they said it might come back but just in re-runs. They also said Invader Zim had zero chance of airing but that they loved the show. Also 5-part clone wars in March, 12 minutes each and they will combine it to make a feature and show it on Saturday which leads me to believe Toonami. They showed us pencil drawings of Juniper Lee, a clip of Foster and a clip of Megas XLR. The panel was in general real fun.

Just to clear up a few things.....I'm assuming by "CN Studios Panel" you're talking about the San Diego Comic Convention panel that had CN speaking at. Also when you say "Bob" you're referring to Bob Higgins. Correct?

That's not bad news, but for some reason, if it does come back into production, it will never be the same. You know that, I know that, we all know that.

KND is of course a huge sucess and a DTV is planned.
Good to hear. Too bad no more theather movies. :(

Also the What a cartoon thing mentioned a while back, Bob said that the pilots won't necessarily air but they could.
Aw hell, why not? Its not like it would kill Cartoon Network to bump an airing of Pokemon or Scooby Doo one night in favor of a pilot marathon. Show the pilots CN!

Time squad was brought up but they said it might come back but just in re-runs.
Its been over, and its still over. No surprise.

They also said Invader Zim had zero chance of airing but that they loved the show.
Yeah, like Nickeldeon would just sell one of their original series to a competitor...It only happened for Ren & Simpy because the show is damn near 10 years old!

Also 5-part clone wars in March, 12 minutes each and they will combine it to make a feature and show it on Saturday which leads me to believe Toonami.
Good, Clone Wars should go on Toonami. It belongs there, since its action animation! As for the LONG wait between these "seasons"...I cannot imagine its anything other than delays for the marketing to stretch out these shows until the final film. At this point, I've lost interest, but who am I to speak for the millions of Star Wars geeks?

They showed us pencil drawings of Juniper Lee, a clip of Foster and a clip of Megas XLR. The panel was in general real fun.
Megas has been out, so I'm assuming you've seen an upcoming episode. Cool beans. I've see a bit of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, and I will stay its great. I can't wait until it premieres. As for Juniper Lee...an 11 year old girl with super powers. Not the most original idea, but I'll wait to see how its done.

Comments?
Yeah, how did you enjoy the convention? See any celebrities? Pick up anything cool?

I'm actually excited more about Juniper lee, sounds real great. The characters her, her brother, freinds sounds like a great addition to prime-time.

Aww. No Zim on CN. I knew it'd take a miracle (even if Nick hates the show, they ain't giving it to CN), but I still held out hope. Then again, Zim will air on Toonami when Gargoyles airs on Toonami.

Tis true. PPG is done after this season. I wish I had attended the panel but.....then I'd have to miss the Incredibles panel and miss a free poster.

I'm not surprised to see ZIM's chances.. I think no one really is.. Same with Time Squad.. Although reruns would be ok.. but then again, it was on early in the morning not to recent ago.. so..

Wow, KND really is a phenomenon or something, a DTV should be interesting, looks like they aren't willing to do theatrical releases anytime soon.

So the end of at least regularly produced PPG is over after this season, if that's the right way to phrase it. There haven't been outstanding episodes, so I guess it's just time..

Invader ZIM has a snowball's chance in hell getting on CN. Nickelodeon would not only sell it to CN because they don't want another "Doug incedent", and CN couldn't afford to buy any episodes either. They're like a million bucks an episode. But it is a really good series. I have Nicktoons TV and the DVD so I'm not really upset.

Comments?I'm not a fan of PPG, and even though I don't like it, seems to me like it's going the route of Dexter's Lab, with the new eps getting worse.

KND is dominating. I'm not surprised.

Time Squad was pretty great. It didn't seem like it lasted long, and I guess there's no chance of new eps. But at least the reruns might not air at 5 in the morning...

Clone Wars huh? Wow.... 7 minutes longer. Greeeeaaaat.....

I'm not excited about Fosters and Juniper Lee. To me, it just dosen't seem like that great a show. But it hasn't premired yet, so I could be wrong.
