I was just flipping through channels and saw on CN something that would interest some of us.

In this episode, Billy was in a forest with a pic-a-nic basket. And if you had to guess who came up to him, a (rather scary-looking) Yogi Bear. He was trying to convince Billy to give him the food. And then (another scary-looking) Boo-Boo comes and they chase after him (Yogi looked creepy like that). Billy hides in a cave and Yogi & Boo-Boo can't bring themselves to go in. And Boo-Boo says a very funny line...
Yogi, why are we so lame?

They got the characters just right and the voices are right on.

And Yogi Bear is airing tommorow morning on CN!

Right now Billy and Mandy is CN's best program, if you're looking for good timing, good storyboarding, good direction, and funny jokes. This is the result of the show bringing on staffers from Futurama, Spongebob Squarepants, and Batman: TAS for its new season. It's the go-to program in a long dry spell of entertainment. The scant gross jokes may not be your thing but maybe there's something for SOMEONE to like. And that specific episode has been my favorite of the new season to date.

For some reason I liked Yogi in that brief 3 minutes more than in the entire Boo Boo Goes Wild special.. probably because it runs through similar concepts but much faster and funnier.

Now if only Harvey Birdman: Attorney At Law could make fun of Yogi's Ark, I'd be set.
