Tv's first animated reality series similar to the Real world. Show sounds great. Features a superhero, a internet downloader pig, spoiled princess, ling-ling, parody of Pikachu, fat betty type of character, and the wierd yellow freak. and some party-type black girl and a video game gay guy. This is some funny stuff, they had a game after called Censored or Uncensored, which was they giving quotes and someone had to say if it was censored or uncut. It comes on CC in October. During the panel, they had one of the guys working on the show leave and they had a extremely funny segment with him and all. Something you gotta look forward to.

We'll see if it's funny, and if it finally means the end of all this. After the parody angle, there's no place left for reality TV to go.

Yeah, I asked about this a few days ago to our Toonzone reporters covering Comic Con.
Heck, here's my exact post:
Can anybody find out more about this upcoming Comedy Central cartoon called "Drawn Together," with a "Real World" premise of a diverse cast of animation types?

Wow. Now there's something I don't see everyday, and above all else it's on Comedy Central. Maybe it'll be good break the slump that CC has on animated television shows and all that.
But it won't probably, but maybe it will be a surprise. I'll be damned if they can actually have VA's like Tom Kenny in this type of show.

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks that at least the premise shows a lot of potential. They really managed to reach all over the spectrum of styles for the characters(Though I don't know if the pikachu clone alone shold represent anime).

I think the show is in good hands, people from PJ's, Simpsons, Futruama, and others shows.
man, this is the weirdest thing yet--
Is this supposed to air this fall?
Edit: Duh... October.
I shall have to catch this.

i'll be surprised if nickelodeon doesn't get on this show's creator for such an obvious parody of spongebob squarepants. or nintendo on the recurring picachu parody.
but you never know.. maybe noone will notice.

I think "Xandor" is also supposed to represent anime.
They mention Ling-Ling as a "Asian card game creature" however. I didn't know there were still idiots in the world who thought Pokemon was only a card game. You only saw the cards most often because they were the cheapest things!

Ok Canadamation, some examples are: Land Before Time, Titan A.E., Wizards, Those LOTR animated movies, American Tail, Rock and Rule, Dragon's Lair, Space Ace.
Essentialy alot of detail is put into the lighting(smoke effects, water effects, and reflective materials) the fluid movements of the characters usualy have more frames than most types of animation. Also hair is a bit more glossy and sways instead of mostly staying stagnent.
Xandor looks like somthing that came outta Space Ace really...he doesn't look like a sterotypical anime character

Half of those are Don Bluth films, which are not of Canadian origin. He just uses a similar style.
This is such a clever idea, now that I think about it. Which just makes me increasingly worried that the staff or Comedy Central will find some way to screw it up.

I actually think this may be a Comedy Central show worth watching. I mean, besides South Park of course. Although "Kid Notorious" but a bad taste in my mouth for CC Toons, this show could more then make up for that. Although I have seen many fanficiton of cartoon characters living together. But I'm sure this will be better, right?

This looks great. I am also happy to report that Shorties Watchin Shorties returns in September for 8 new episodes. Drawn Together looks hilarious!

So, are they going to vote people out like in a real reality show? I hope so, casue it would suck if they didn't.

No, I'm guessin it will be an animated "real world". So...judging by the pics on Jerry Beck's site are the black chick and the princess chick lesbians...looks like from those pics on the site?
PS: Did anyone notice in the "lesbian" shower pic, the black and white girl is urinating like a guy...in a urinal:p

Actually, it's quite possible for girls to urinate while standing up. You can find instructions on various places on the internet.
