If it's possible to produce a working set of Tentacles(That Doc Oct used in Spider-Man 2), and some company mass-produce them, would you buy a set? If yes, what would you do with them?
I would buy a set(if I can afford it and can withstand all those needles going in my spine), and I can think of one thing to do with them. If I was caught in a nasty traffic jam, I'd just lift my car with my upper tentacles and walk above the jam with my lower ones, till I get past the jam, then I put my car down, get in it, and drive off.
Lets not forget the helpful possiblities mass-produced tentacles can do like, make construction and deconstruction easier and saffer. Fireman can use them to reach to victims in a burning building, and keep debre from falling on top of them. Reach hard-to-reach points of buildings. Save people who are about to fall, and other such good things.
