Welcome back to "The World"!

1/4th of the way through the series and poor Shugo still gets his rear handed to him by monsters! At the Tanabata Night all the girls showed off their cute yukata's then many players joined in a sort of battle royale to try and win a kiss from Rena and also the prize of their choice! But once more a glitched monster shows up to try and ruin things but Shugo saved the day! In the end though he didn't get a kiss or a prize. Poor guy!


Tonights episode is # 05/12 ! - "Mansion of Terror"

Shugo breaks a tooth each episode...try to catch it ala Kuroneko!
Returning characters include: The sleeping girl Aura (most episodes of SIGN), Balmung of the Azure Sky (SIGN episode 21 "Phantom" & the games), and Sanjuro (from the games)

off to a cool start with everyone at a beach in the game! weird but neat and as always Mireille has to show off hehe! Shugo daydreaming of Ohka's swimsuit was funny since she showed up as a wolf! poor Shugo and Rena think all these bad things are just events :eek: Sanjuro isn't so clueless and it seems the problems are being caused by kid hackers? we get to see more of Aura :) and now into a haunted house......

so now whats with these Cerulean Knights that can push around even Balmung? :confused: new version of the Crimson Knights? Komiyama III got beat up good by Rena so I'm happy and Shugo finally learned how to fight and he did really really good! :) now he can protect Rena I think as long as he doesn't let her off on her own again! and next week has hotsprings? :eek:

still, a beach episode followed by a hot springs episode.... I've heard of fanservice before but this is right up there with the second disc of Tenchi Muyo GXP

I'm glad I was able to catch Twilight this week. It was another fun episode.

So basically Shugo and co, got lured into haunted mansion, where it was the villains plan to eliminate "Kite".. Little did they know these aren't the legendary dothackers, and end up with "Blackrose" instead. Shugo comes and saves Reina.. but it seems too late, as she disappears/floats off.
It was interesting seeing Sanjuro trying to talk Shugo and Reina into not playing the World as often as they do.. Little does he know that's how they stay in touch with one another.. Besides Shugo has to stay in touch with the cutie wavemaster, cutie with the grunty and Ohka.. That kid is lucky.. surrounded by girls. :anime:
It was interesting to see apparently the next evolution of the Silver Knights.. seems CC corp has their hands very much so on the World now..
I give "Mansion of Terror" an A.

After a brief trip to the beach Shugo finds out that someone has send him some strange email. It appears Aura is trapped in a mansion, so Shugo assembles his adventure party! But things don't go so well as Rena is seperated from the group and does battle with a invincible monster. Shugo bravely battles through and blasts the fiend with his Data Drain attack, but it is too late as Rena vanishes right before his eyes.

I gotta say, Shugo REALLY kick some butt this episode! Man, I was surprised how much he had improved from before. Pity he couldn't save Rena in time. I wonder what happened to her... There are now Cerulean (?) Knights enforcing player conduct?! Dang. Also the VA for that lady sounded like Hilda the one eyed privateer from Outlaw Star.

Uh, question what type of character class is Hotaru? She doesn't seem to be much of help during that fight with those monsters.

Favorite parts of the show. Ohka, watching Shugo kick some serious butt, and the preview of the next episode :sweat:

Finally, things will start kicking from this episode and on.

By the way, this is not really a spoiler but is kind of.

Don't trust that woman that showed up with her army of goons and also don't trust and Balmung's assistant guy. Those two are bad people especially near the end of the series

Well, I just finished it, and I have no opinion what so ever.

First you had the screen looking stretched out for some reason.
Second, it seemed like it started a few minutes into the episode because the moment the song ended the kids seemed to be in the middle of a sentence.
Next the dubbing was just horrible and the voices did not sound right.
Finally, the commercial breaks did it in for me.

All 4 of these killed this episode for me. I'll just wait for Vols 2 and 3 to see the rest of the series.

How would I do that? I have never had that happen before on regular TV. I only know how to set a DVD player.

-Why does Mirille/Mirei keep using the worst healing spell(Repth) instead of the better ones(La/Ola/Pha/Phal repth)?

I'm quite mad. I missed this episode thanks to my stupid roommate. What makes him think he has the right to eject my tape just as it's about to record this show when I'm asleep. I have to add to what I said. Number 2 would be funny and creepy.

Just think about all the terrible things that could happen to Reina if she got stuck on Shugo's right hand Midori style.

I didn't trust any of the crimson knights outside of Subaru and Crim, I didn't trust pig-head (Lios), what makes you'd think I'd trust the Cerulan knights either? and about the only other people I'd trust who hang around Balmung that much would be Orca and Kite

Well, how am I supposed to know who you trust and who you don't? There's nothing that makes me think that way.

Blame CN for airing it stretched instead of properly letterboxed. Or maybe blame the people who made the tapes for them. If you've got one of those new-fangled TVs that can change the screen ratio you can fix it, otherwise you have to just live with it.

So not only do we get a beach scene, we get haunted houses, evil hackers(darn my money was on Maganna, oh well..), Reina going ghost, and CCCorp's equivelent to the old Scarlet Knights. Things are indeed getting interesting.

Heck yeah! That is some fine advice to follow... Cuz I use to have a female game character is an MMORPG once.

He already had the status efect thing happen, and EXP loss (but that was at the fault of a booby trapped treasure box)
