Here's something new from me: fanart based on a book series. Don't think I've ever tried that before. Well, the background's a little "bleh", but I'm not really accustomed to doing backgrounds (and I'm sure you can tell)

Great shading
How do you keep doing this? Honestly I can never get enough of your wonderful pencilled works. :D
Again there's the beautiful delicate quality to the whole thing and the proportions and skeletal structure of the animal bodies are spot on. I love it.

Very cool. I love your pencil work. Always been a highlight of the ASJ for me and it works very well here. Very pictorial - you could see it along side the source text. My only advice would be to watch out that the background isn't over powering your central character which it is doing a bit here. Great work.

Thanks, everyone! I think this is probably the best of my recent work. (recent being within the last year)

I didn't notice the background was so blaring until I was about halfway through with it. I started to go over the characters in the foreground to make them darker but feared ruining those lines.
Next time I'll know to pay a bit more attention to the background.;)

That's pretty cool. This is from the series "Animorphs", right?

And beating out the demons is a what I like to see in an image, very nice drawing to it, and very near on the designs and shading, hope you will be able to make alot more good ones soon.
