WHSE-TV - What is it and where do you get it?

It's Channel 68 in NYC. You can only get it over-the-air or on cable in the NYC area. Next year they're switching to an all-Spanish lineup, so they'll only be showing cartoons for a couple more months.

But, if there's an independent TV station near you that carries programs from the AIN Network (a sort-of-network of indies, if that makes any sense), odds are you'll find "Cartoon Arcade" and "Cartoon Junction" there.

In my city, it's Channel 56. Does anyone else have WHSE on that network?

What exactly does AIN stand for? And is there a website that anyone knows of for AIN? I would like to make absolutely sure that there isn't one of these in my area that I'm missing out on.

AIN stands for American Independent Network.

Here's some info I found for AIN:

American Independent Network (AIN)
6125 Airport Freeway
Suite 200
Halton City, TX 76117
817/222-1234
817/222-9809 (fax)

email: ain@interserv.com
http://www.aini.com/

Their site is not working right now. I've emailed them about this and asked them if there's any way I can get a list of stations or at least a list of any AIN stations in the Mass. area. If I get any good info I'll pass it on. Since these guys are based in TX, Matthew might be able to watch some of this stuff.

I private messaged Nelson and Geezil with some updated info on AIN, so if they still got it, they might be able to post it.

Here's something for potential AIN fans:

Go to http://www.metronet.com/~chipk/searches.html

Go to the Affiliates menu.

Select AIN and your state.

Good luck!

I am not totally sure how accurate this is, but it lists 2 affiliates for you N.Y. guys.

No luck for me in Mass., but there is the possibility of CT or other surrounding states having stations close enough. I'll have to figure it out.
