http://members.aol.com/PaulEC1/js6.jpg George and his daughter Judy watch to a Jet Screamer's presentation on TV. Scene of the episode A Date With Jet Screamer, from the Jetsons classical series (1962-63), which was animated by Kenneth Muse.
Hate to correct you after the fine research job you did, but the above vidcap from THE JETSONS is from Carlo Vinci, one of three animators in the Date With Jet Screamer episode. Muse and Disney vet Jerry Hatchcock were the others. The very angular bodies, taut arm placements and George's vertically elongated face are very obviously the work of Vinci- quite evident in his work at H-B, MGM and Terrytoons.
Muse also animated on the theatrical HEY THERE IT'S YOGI BEAR (along with old friends Ken Harris and Gerry Chiniquy, who were biding time after WB closed down before they hooked up with MGM and the reopened WB respectively).
You must have some collection of H-B videos to be able to list every series a given animator worked on- or are you working from visual identification and/or memory? The H-B animator credits were far from complete- many shows with animation from Muse did not list his name in the credits. The same goes for other shows and animators. (F'rinstance, the SCOOBY-DOO episode A Night of Fright is No Delight has a couple of minutes' worth of Muse animation near the beginning.)
Anyone who peruses this board regularly knows that Muse worked at DFE from approximately 1970 through '74. There must have been some staggering of production at one or both studios because, as you noted, his work is prominent in 1971's HAIR BEAR BUNCH. I'm not sure, because it's been many years, but there may have some Muse animation in 1972's FLINTSTONES COMEDY HOUR.
Keep up the great work! I look forward to more.

BTW, I'm not familiar with Dick Lundy's or Lew Marshall's animation. I have a Yogi Bear cartoon Slap Happy Birthday on tape as well as another Yogi Bear cartoon which two robbers disguise themselves as old ladies and try to hide a picnic basket in Jellystone Park. Slap Happy Birthday seems to be mostly done by Kenneth Muse, while the latter cartoon I mentioned has some Muse and Carlo Vinci animation but most of the cartoon is mostly unidentifyable to me. The animators credited are Kenneth Muse, Carlo Vinci, Dick Lundy, and Lew Marshall. Can you help me?

Here's the chorus formed by Fred, Barney and four policemen (the Happy Anniversary Quartet). Scene from the episode The Hot Piano, from The Flintstones (1960-66). Animated by George Nicholas.

"Slaphappy Birthday", which, BTW, was the first Yogi short in his 'new' starring series, featuring Hoyt Curtin underscore, was animated by George Nicholas. His characters tend to have very pronounced jowls with wide, flappy mouths and heavily-lidded eyes- except when the character is excited. Then the eyes bug out wide. Long speeches will have the character cock his head to the side and generally closed eyes. You can identify Nicholas animation in a FLINTSTONE episode if Fred is 'doffing out' imaginary suspenders when bragging.
The other short you site, "Disguise and Gals", was animated by Don Patterson. Characters animated by him are often short and boxy, with very jerky head and limb movements. They tend to have large 'dead' looking eyes, slack jaws and huge overbites. When a Patterson-animated character dashes offscreen, he's followed by a lot of large 'smear' lines.
Only three animators- Lew Marshall, Muse and Vinci- did virtually every short in the first two (1957-59) seasons of TV H-B shorts. (I still have trouble pinning down Marshall's style, and he pretty much moved from animation to directing around 1960 or '61.) Columbia must've increased the studio's animation budget for the fall 1959 season, because such familiar names as Bob Carr, Art Davis, Ed Love, Lundy, Nicholas, Patterson and Don Williams came on board.
I generally view Fred Flintstone as the best character to observe the distinctive styles of the various H-B animators.
By and large, only one animator worked on most TV H-B shorts made through 1962-'63- and most first-season FLINTSTONE episodes as well. It wasn't till almost the end of that season that multiple episode animators began to appear. (A late first-season episode, "Rooms to Rent", is done by six animators: Bill Keil, Lundy, Nicholas, Patterson and Vinci!)

Scene from the first Snagglepuss episode, titled Major Operation, which was animated by Lew Marshall. Snagglepuss is one of the sequences from the classical Yogi Bear Show (1960-62).
http://members.aol.com/Polecattt/baseball.jpg Here we see Augie Doggie involved in a baseball game as a batter, while his beloved dad appears as an umpire. This is the initial scene of the episode Talk It Up Pup, from Augie Doggie & Doggie Daddy, which was animated by Lew Marshall. Augie Doggie & Doggie Daddy is one of the sequences from The Quick Draw McGraw Show (1959-62).
Well, I have to make a pause here. We'll continue in another occasion.
So long, farewell, auf wiedesen, good bye! (Do you remember of the movie The Sound of the Music [1965, directed by Robert Wise], with Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer in the cast?)

Hello, Howard Fein!
I don't have any Hanna-Barbera video collection. I recieve the signals from Cartoon Network (Brazil) (http://www.cartoonnetwork.com.br (http://www.cartoonnetwork.com.br/) or http://www.cartoonnetworkla.com/english) and Boomerang (Brazil) (http://www.cartoonnetwork.com.br/boomerang or http://www.cartoonnetworkla.com/english/boomerang), through from the cable operator which I subscribe here in Brazil, TVA (http://www.tva.com.br (http://www.tva.com.br/)).
I'm doing this research thru the visual identification and from my memory. And the references which I put on this topic, I found them in various sites from Internet.
Well, that's it!

(A late first-season episode, "Rooms to Rent", is done by six animators: Bill Keil, Lundy, Nicholas, Patterson and Vinci!)BTW, I also got a Yippee, Yappee, and Yahooey cartoon: Horse Shoo Fly, but since I'm no expert with the Hanna-Barbera animators, could it be Dick Lundy that animated that cartoon?

Hello, friends from Toon Zone, Yesterdaylanders, Memory Laners from the whole world!
Here are more references animated by Hugh Fraser from various Hanna-Barbera cartoons. It's time to follow with the research!

Hugh Fraser animated this overture.

I remember of having seen this episode on Boomerang (http://www.cartoonnetwork.com/boomerang, http://www.cartoonnetwork.com.br/boomerang or http://www.cartoonnetworkla.com/english/boomerang).
Well, I've had more references animated by George Nicholas to include here, but I'll let to do this on a next opportunity.
So long!

Hello, friends from Toon Zone, Yesterdaylanders, Memory Laners and HB-fans from the whole world!
Here are more references animated by George Nicholas from various Hanna-Barbera cartoons. It's time to continue with the research!
http://www.afunk.com/other/jetsons/pictures/007.jpg Here's Astro, tired of living his new life as a mascot of a millionaire (who rechristened him as Tralfaz). And he misses very much their real owners (the Jetsons). This is a scene of the episode Astro Millionaire, from the Jetsons classical series (1962-63). It was animated by George Nicholas.
http://www.toonarific.com/pics_root/00004025/yogibear8.gif Do you remember of this episode from the classical Yogi Bear, titled Papa Yogi? Very well.On this episode, Yogi and Boo Boo appear wearing Polo shirts and disguised as father and son to make part of a father-and-son picnic, ready to get some food. On this scene shown above, Yogi accompains Boo Boo, who participates of one of the competitions from the picnic. And the "smarter than the average bear" relates to the audiences on the moment in which Boo Boo gets next from the table full of those delicious foods... George Nicholas animated this episode.
http://www.toonarific.com/pics_root/00002965/quickdraw11.gif Here's a scene from the episode The Lyin' Lion, from The Quick Draw McGraw Show (1959-62). On it, Quick Draw attempts to reprehend the orange Snagglepuss (yes, the Snagglepuss prototype), but the feline attempts defending his innocence. Animated by George Nicholas.
Well, the research remains good, but I have to make a pause here. I'll continue in a next opportunity.
Bye-bye!

Rodinei, please stop quoting your own posts. Seriously.
It's annoying, specially when you put so many images in every post. It takes a lot of time to load for those with dial-up. I have no problem with you making a thread dedicated to HB animators, but there's no need to write an introduction and farewell in every post, as they discourage people from replying, that's why signatures are for. The e-mail and HB building info can go in your signature, no need for that being in every post. Also, don't put unnecessary images, you put one at the end of EVERY post, which gets annoying.
