the episode was creepy! never trust a computer especially one with single eyes everywhere  does this make official 003 + 009 love? :) there was even some 004 character development which I thought was neat..he is part or mostly robot and doesn't seem to like that fact much huh? poor guy..

Today's lesson: When you're a single guy trapped inside a computer, you're no doubt horny, so what do you do? Take the first beautiful woman you see and make her your sex slave!

Tonight's episode also showed me something that's been in my mind for a while: Dorothy Mendelez (003) is one of the most fluxuating VAs I've ever seen. Most of the episode had good acting in it, but there were major parts where she clearly overacted.

I was expecting closure on last episode, does this mean the season will be mostly one shots?

I should have paid more attension, everything which resided in this episode is fuzzy. From what I can gather it was another solid episode and proves once again about 009's great pace being...well great. I am just kinda wondering, you know,....WHERE they are and why that doctor looks like a gerbil-type creature.

Uhhh...what the hell? that was the strangest freakin episode of Cyborg 009 I've ever seen. I mean, first of all, why the hell were the cyborgs invited to this computertopia or whatever it's called? I mean, this plot really seemed to come out of nowhere. I mean, how does the white guy know the cyborgs?

And that leads to my next question, why was that guy covered in white hair? I mean, okay, I can see a beard and hair, but his cheeks, forehead, nose, and even his freakin eyelids? And why did he have black eyelashes with all that white hair? That was the strangest character design ever. When I first saw him I thought someone would surely shout out "What kind of animal is that?"

I thought only 001 could communicate telepathically, why could everyone do it in this episode?

I still don't understand why the robot 003 didn't want to hurt 009. The professors explanation really didn't make sense, he said that it didn't kill him because 003's heart was too strong or some crap like that, but the thing is the robot WASN'T 003, it was a robot. Why would a robot have 003's heart? What a freakin weird episode...

A yeti doctor...I love this show. Another decent episode with some spotlight on my favorite cyborg, 004. I wonder when they're going to go over 001 and 006's origins.

they said early in the episode that they went to Computopia to get maintenance done on the Dolphin so I guess professor must have known the citys creator. and they weren't communicating telepathically each 00 cyborg except for 003 (she doesn't need one) has a built-in communicator so they can keep in touch easily :)

and yeah that guys beard was major weird! but I am really liking these non Black Ghost enemies and episodes :) after it turned out the "gods" were Black Ghost cyborgs I was just a little tired of BG but when he returns it will still be good!

a yeti who for some reason had a son that looked eerily like 009, still why is it the minute they introduced that supercomputer and the guy started ranting about it I knew that thing would somehow turn deadly, oh wait supercomputers always do that, it's the HAL principle, forebearer to the SKYNET theorem

"any computer designed to be superior to humans will invariably mutiny" it's elementary chaos theory (all those computers and scientists and no one had brains enough to bring Jeff Goldblum along)

Please tell me this was filler.

The highlight for me in this episode was the exploding 003. Don't know why, but I thought it was hilarious.

I don't know if it is the scripts or the dubbing, but is it just me or is something a little off this season compared to the first 26 episodes?

I agree. What a horrible episode. A half-assed attempt at a technological metaphysical story which unsurprisingly fell flat on it's face. It was predictable, corny and nonsensical [003 and 009 just randomly float up after being shot to explain the moral of the story?]. Blegh.

That, and the nonchalant way 002 acted afterwards. ("What, she exploded? Oh hey, here's her arm, so it wasn't really her, ok that's done, good thing I was here to solve it. One truth prevails, etc").

Sadly that's almost verbatim except for that last line.

As for these episodes being weak, I think it's just that this show seems to really suck with filler. The two-parter with the creepy aliens was great, but this week and last week have been horrible. Odd since the first season had some nice filler (The restaurant episode and 005's play episode come to mind...wait, were those the same episode? Can't remember...)

Maybe when another story arc starts up the show will get better.

Why do these mediocre episodes keep being churned out? At least last week we got some 005 background, this was just a waste.

I did enjoy the episode at several parts...it was creepy how the computer knew everything. This was an intriguing episode on a lot of different levels:
1. We are given the simple idea of man relying too much on a computer and not the human brain. I thought 004 and 009's side conversation within the episode was quite poignant, and mimicks a huge problem of human laziness that exists within our society. Especially 004 mentioning the gratitude issue-very good.
2. Some growth between 009 and 003 (finally). The fans are given somewhat a huge obvious clue of what is really going on with them (sorta). What was really well done was the robot 003 wanting to protect 009. Kinda shows that even clones have feelings too...
3. question though, why was 008 helpless in this episode? I mean come on now...008, get back in some missions!

I mean I think this episode did a lot of good things-though it was very much rushed at the end. Because of said rushing I give the ep.. a B

Not like the other Cyborgs did much this episode either except for 003, 004, and 009.

Anybody also notice the delivery of Professor Gilmore's line at the end.

"That's so sad."

It sounded like he was being sarcastic or something.

I noticed. The delivery was bad, like he was trying to be a smartass or something. But then again, I thought the acting in this episode was horrible. Mainly the Furryface's son. The whole episode reminded me of a even more horribly done episode of 'The Twilight Zone'.

Actually, it was 007's play, and yes, they were different episodes.

This episode had me going "eh". I don't think I had much of a problem with the lines or the emoting most of the time, but a lot of it seemed like "verbal diarheaa". You know, it kept going and going and going and made a mess all over the scene. I mean, it gets to the point where you go "Will you stop overexplaining the situation and just do something else" or something like that. The main highlights were some more characterization of 003 and 004.
The beginning and ending were kind of messed up too. I mean, why would 009 not know what happened at the beginning when he clearly knew what was going on by the time he got inside the virtual world? I'm actually waiting for Black Ghost to come back or something like that, so we can at least get to some sort of story arc.

I finally got to watch last night's episode and I gave it an A+. True love really is beautiful and there is definately some of that going around between 009 and 003. It's cute. I also gave this episode an A+ because there were some powerful words and phrases that were said mostly coming from 004. I can't wait for next week's episode!:)

GIANT TRIBBLE!!! Anyway a professor introduces the cyborgs to his great computerized city Computopia (Not to be confused with Computer City, CompUSA, Compuserve) Of course things go sour when the mainframe computer develop feelings for 003 and tries to axe 009. During this mess, there is a cute scene of the professor remarking that 003 and 009 would make a great couple.

Meh episode. Highlights for me, that little car ride. Man, with 003 cradling 001 like that... 003 and 009 do look like a married couple. It is nice to see some relationship build-up between the two. Also I was impressed how a city would attack someone. Favorite one was when the street/bridge opened up and quickly slammed shut trying to crush 009.

I also agree that there was just a lot of standing around commenting about various things by the other 00 cyborgs. Uh, 009 and 003 is in danger lets just watch TV...

There was some sorta connection with 004, but I think I have to rewatch that part to understand it better.

Not much else to write about.

They are trying to fool us! Well, it's a good thing I figured it out.

That scene with the arm proves that 009 has feelings for 003, so I personally found that scene not wasteful. (poor amy got her head cut off...T_T)

By the way 002 was acting, he was implying that since it was just a robot and not the real 003, 009 shouldn't be crying over it or something like that.

Previous episodes hinted at a budding romance between 003 and 009, but this episode took a giant leap from there to it being common knowledge that they're in love. Then again, having it right out in the open like that does save us from the romantic angst that most series goes through to bring a couple together.

It was fairly obvious that Spinx had fallen in love with 003, but then, to us that sort of thing is a cliché, so I guess I can forgive team cyborg for not figuring it out sooner.

1. I dunno how that works. If the Sphinx mastercomputer is against them, how are the Cyborgs still able to use the computers and cars? That's kinda dumb - why rely on something that's obviously against you (like what happened with the false video image of 003).

2. Sphinx: "Hey 003, wanna cyber?" :anime:
This almost reminds me of the ending of the first Ghost in the Shell movie, but would such an offspring be possible? ;)

Yeah. I was watching them use the cars after they knew the city kidnapped 003, I went WTH are they doing? Even more silly. They were still using the surveillance to check up 003 even after the computer provided them with false images...

Oh well.
