...And people said that Wolf's Rain and Witch Hunter Robin was the cure for insomnia.
The series is airing on Tech TV. The first series and it's sequel....back to back. That's some screwy programming for you. I just wanted somebody to know about my witty replacing of 'Stars' with 'ZZZZzzzZZZ.'
Now you know.

It's been on for over a year now. YOU DO know that right? Anyways it's a pretty good story driven anime...maybe thats what your not into?

I usually hold up Crest/Banner of the Stars as one of the few examples of a show where slow pacing doesn't make it suck. Though admittedly the dub for the CotS has a problem, the guy doing Jinto reads with no emotion. The BotS dub is fine, Jinto gets the same voice as Van from Zoids and Keita from Betterman. I don't know if Jinto in CotS was a different actor or the same actor on a really bad day, or what.

It's been on for over a year now.And I've had Anime Unleashed for...about a month, whenever that merger happened. Heh.
I enjoyed CotS and BotS. It is obviously a slow paced anime, not much action. There is some just not a lot. It's definitely more about the story and subtle developments that occur. Not really a must see IMO, but a decent show nonetheless.

I guess you're just not into slow shows, but plenty of other people love Crest/Banner of the Stars.

Seikai is very slowly paced but that helps to extentuate the chraracters inner conflicts. On another note, watching it again after a year the dub of Seikai no Monsho is still rediculously stilted.

Crest and Banner of the stars are great, but the dubs for them... Yeeeeeesh
It's like kids in school reading from a text-book in front of the class.
