FOUR Buffyverse movies?!?

Four Buffiverse TV Movies???


I am – Hercules!! (Herculesaicn@yahoo.com) That’s what James Marsters reportedly spilled in Australia. According to this wacky site (http://www.geos.tv/index.php/article/geos/1032), Spike’s alter ego says the number of movies will either number four or zero. If made, each of the four, he says, will focus on a different character we’ve all grown to know and love.

this sounds really cool, but i'm still very skeptical of the website in question...

obviously, David and Sarah won't come back, but it'd be kinda cool to see a Spike, Willow, and Giles series.... i just want some Buffyverse back... :(

I get the feeling that it would be 4 movies with stories for 2 characters from each show. From Buffy it would be Willow and Giles, and from Angel, probably Wesley or Spike...I guess Wesley becuase I think he was always Joss' favorite character to write on Angel (the R2 Season 4 DVD has commentary with Whedon and Denisof).

Master Moron, Spike was dead, Buffy was dead, and you can't tell me they wouldn't just throw in some mystical contingency like Wesley getting stronger in magic every time he had to use it ( ie the amped up fireball.) And besides what other characters could you do the movie's on? Lorne...snore. Ilyria...too much odd talking (I did like the character though) and the stars of each show probably won't do it since they are working on film careers.

God I hope this is true. I heard the hints of this in the Entertainment Weekly interview with Joss and figured something like this was bound to happen. And I for one am not completely sure SMG and DB will be no-shows. Sarah's been willing to return to Buffy in the past as long as it isn't on the big-screen and these sound like TV movies. David has said he won't return to Angel unless the story is spectacular, so that puts the burden on Joss to raise the bar, which I'm sure he can do. Even if SMG and DB aren't the stars I still have hope for cameos.

As for other Buffyverse characters to throw in the mix: It's all about Oz, baby.
