During the FoxBox today there was a sneak peek at the new season of TMNT, here's some interesting bits from the season:

-The Triceratons invade Earth

-That Triceraton Gladiator from "Secret Origins" returns.

-Leo is poisoned.

-Usagi becomes an ally through most, if not all, of the season. He also borrows Don's bow and Leo's swords in one battle.

-The Triceratons have created a minature Supernova or something like it that is destroying the Ninja Tourney.

-Rapheal wears Shredder's armor.

-That old enemy of Splinter's returns for revenge.

I'm still not happy about this whole bent on aliens thing that the series is being taken to... even if it was based on the original comic book. Still, Miguzi got me into the new series, and if only the Fox Box would show the second half of Season 2 again before starting Season 3, I'd be all set.

I'll probably still be watching if the action remains good, even with all the aliens and stuff.

Leo getting poisoned, Splinter's enemy returning, and Usagi showing up look like parts 2-4 of "Big Brawl," which were a part of Season 2 that we never saw.

When the heck are they gonna have evil mutants on the series?

btw, do you know any place on the net where I can view the sneak peek?

I hope never. I didn't like the mutant of the week deal that the CBS seasons of the old show had. It got old fast.

Raph wearing Shredder armor? Sweet mother! That's IMAGE TMNT isn't it?

They didn't actually have any scenes with Raph wearing the armor, but during the titles (Such as "NEW ENEMIES!" etc.) they had 2D character art. Most of them were of what I'm assuming to be combatants in the tournament, but the last shot had Rapheal (or Mikey, but I'm going with Raph) wearing the Shredder's armor, sans helmet.

You're right Hyper Sensei, that is from the Image comics, I'm shock. I haven't read the series, but I've heard people say, the creators don't consider that to be in the TMNT universe. But what do I know. This is the link where I found the info.

so i'd bet one of the turtles would be very much injured from a fall much like in the image comics...

then have to become partially a robot in order to be made mobile again?

it's a shame image's tmnt never resolved that whole rebuilt turtle thing.. it would have been nice to have seen the series end with all 4 turtles well and whole.

True but sense the turtles are mutant, it would make sense if they had other mutants as enemies. They could always take ideas from the archie comics too.

Darn. I haven't watched the Foxbox since Big Brawl Part 1 aired. What Duke says confirms all the tidbits we already know, but the Raph in Shredder's armor sounds cool.

It sounds like the Triceratons will be the Turtles' second major enemy after the Shredder. About time.

And have them meet the Conservation Corps?

I doubt they will use mutants as enemies in the new TMNT cartoon. Based on what I have heard they will likely use other villains from the TMNT Mirage universe like Savanti Romero.

My question is, will the 3rd season be the last of the new TMNT? Seasons 1 & 2 were brilliant, but eventually even the best writers run out of good ideas...

As long as they decide not mutiate the Turtles like the image crackhead did, it'll be fine. But Raph should lose his eye at some point. In most incarnations of the Turtles, Raph is one eyed.

And they MUST steal the Future turtles from the Archie comics. They were so cool (Verminator and the Shark dude rock.)

what i wouldnt' give for the old tmnt and the new tmnt to somehow exist in a dvd special or something similar.. just to show , for the fans.. where the turtles are.. and where they have been .

btw.. i truly believe the old tmnt's theme song, really is cooler than the theme song for the new series.. quite honestly..

The first movie had the best music. I loved the main theme and the "Raph's getting into mischief" music...awesome.

Hopefully they won't start turning the TMNT into cyborg giant robots like the anime did.

I want to see a new version of bebop and rocksteady.:(

Why on earth haven't they put Rat King in the new series yet? The fans of the old series have been begging for more villains from the old series and the Rat King was in the comics, so there's no reason for him not to be in this new show.

I wanna see some evil mutants, like Scale-Tail, Rocksteady, Bebop, and others.

They've said no Bebop or Rocksteady will appear period. They also said there would be no Krang, and with the exception of a side joke that has happened. I prefer this new series because it contains a lot more action and isn't the same basic plot episode after episode. Also, where else could you get Casey Jones until now? I did see the sneak peek. It airs almost once a week on the Fox Box along with the Shaman King sneak peek.

It's been explained one million times why Bebop and Rocky can't appear because of legal reasons, and it's infuriating since a certain poster keeps asking after being told so many times.

As for Rat King, I'd like to see him, if only as Splinter's psychic tormenter (like in the comics' version of City at War, not the crappy animated version.)

Then watch the old show er... some how. We may get to Slash according to some who have seen the preview (something looked a bit like Slash). That I'd be okay with because it's not an comic book action series if there isn't an evil clone or evil twin or evil something similar to the hero/es.
