These days, whenever I watch a Grace Stafford Woody Woodpecker cartoon, I think of Bart Simpson. Perhaps there are similarities between the personalities and voices. Does anyone else think of Bart Simpson when sitting down watching the Woody Woodpecker cartoons of the early-mid 1950's on?

Does this make Homer Simpson the equivalent of Wally Walrus?

Save for women doing the voices (Nancy Cartwright aka "Bart" had the misfortune of being born in the late 1950s, the dark ages of theatrical animation, esp.for Daffy, Bugs and Woody) there is NO sameness 'twixt Bart and Woody---now if you wanna use the 1940s Woody who was a jerk, that would be a better comnparison..:)
