This is my first post to the Disney Animation forum. I have been posting to Termite Terrace Trading Post off and on for about three years now, in case anyone recognizes me!

Let's face it, The Disney Channel's programming has been in great decline over the last few years! But their not alone, Cartoon Network has also declined considerably in terms of programming, and to an even greater extent, Game Show Network-- now known as GSN: The Network for Games.

Therefore, I had written up a Disney Channel schedule proposal, although my no means perfect, to show a better example of TV schedule for this network. My proposed schedule is based on the current schedule, with some much-needed improvements. Here is what I have so far:

Not too bad! I like it...much better than the schedule they have now. Way too many repeats...that's for sure (on the current schedule). This is my ideal schedule. However, I would certainly like to see this come into effect. I'll post again later...I am feeling rather fatigued right now.:p

This is pretty good. I remember Disney Channel used to air Charlie Brown, too. I loved watching it when I was a kid.

Yeah,I agree, the scheduling sucks these days. Especially for Cartoon Network. Man,I don't even watch that channel anymore. It sucks big time with all their repeats of shows and shoving them down our throats.

Nice schedule you got there, Kurt. I also remember seeing Charlie Brown and the 90's MMC on Disney Channel, and would love to see those two programs back on the channel.

Theres no way Disney Channel will ever put a canceled series of theirs on a daytime slot... only primetime. Bug Juice is gaining LOTS of popularity! :D Braceface should have been on weekdays in the first place... they've only aired 15 eps so far... not good. They could take out that crappy hour of recess or lilo and stitch... boring.

I agree Sugah that the schedule too is good, but i think that if they moved Kim Possible to say "Prime Time" (7 - 8 PM Weekenights/weekends), they might be able to have a largert draw on that.. (after all Kim Possible is not a Tween show!) Also widen the spectrum on Braceface a bit.. 15 episodes is way too few for Disney Channel to air.

Also too much repeating of both Playhouse Disney and the afforementioned shows is also too mcuh.(Cut Playhouse down to 4 hours and use better quality shows off of Toon disney, plus they need to also revitalize older shows..(Gummi Bears, Darkwing Duck, etc. , with new episodes based on the original characters (no not a update, same characters NEW stories!) (sadly since Disney has canned it's Animation section.. this will never happen (but then again you never know!):D  )

Also I think keeping some shows on as quality based would be a good idea.. and beleive me in the last 20 years I can find enough quality in Disney shows (from TDA nad One Too and One Saturday morning) that could fill up most of the time slots.. the rest would be potentially saban based, but still it's anyones guess of what people REALLY want..

Hey that's a pretty awesome scheldule you've got there! I really wish Disney would pack some those back on the air. I also a big decline with the channel and with all those repeats of shows like Lizzie Mcguire or the Proud family. I wish the channel would put a new episode on a certain show at least once in a while. They should knock it off with the constant prepeating of epsiodes shows we've already seen!

everything on disney now is either for little kids or tweens . (including kp) but there ARE older fans of these series so you could think otherwise, especially if you judge by the online fanbase...

the schedule is nice but maybe someday the 'classic' disney channel series will surface on tv land or a similar channel disney will someday create...or i can hope anyways lol
