With the recent revivals of classic animation on DVD, I was wondering if there has been any classics that are simply not being put on DVD. I've seen some Winsor McCay collections released, as well as the Looney Tunes Golden Collection, Bullwinkle, and others, but are there any titles that are not being transfered to DVD format that should? I'm not talking about obscure stuff, since that obvious reason for that is it won't sell well. Any titles come to mind?

let's see -
1. George of the Jungle/Super Chicken/Tom Slick
2. Aside from handfu from Peter Sellers collection and that crummy DVD few years ago, the "Pink Panther" and maybe others like "The Inspector"
3. Aside from the upcoming "Tom and Jerry" DVD, MGM cartoons, like "Droopy" and other Tex Avery stuff
4. Crusader Rabbit (come on. It's the very first animation made for TV)
5. Max Fleisher stuff, except for those public domain ones usually seen in Wal*Mart

Adding to Charles' list:
- Walter Lantz Cartunes (aside from the "Woody Woodpecker and Friends" DVDs distributed exclusively by Columbia House)
- Columbia and UPA (Mr. Magoo, Fox and Crow, Gerald McBoing Boing)
- MGM Happy Harmonies, Barney Bear, and the Michael Lah Droopy cartoons
- MGM Gene Deitch and Chuck Jones Tom and Jerry's (aside from a few on the one-disc compilations)
- Any Fleischer or Famous Studios Popeye not in the public domain

Betty Boop/Paramount
Mighty Mouse/Heckle and Jeckle/Terrytoons
Both are still pretty well known, and have a Baby Boomer nostalgia market built in.

A real DVD box set with all of MGM's Tex Avery cartoons include "Half-Pint Pygmy" and "Uncle Tom's Bungalow" (this set has release last year in France but this 2 shorts are removed for blackface references   )
