ADULT SWIM(Monday-Thursday, Saturday-Sunday, 11 p.m.-2 a.m.)
Adults 18-34 delivery (441,000) and ratings (0.7) both increased by 17%.
Adults 18-24 delivery (257,000) improved by 16% and ratings (0.9) by 13%.
The Thursday, April 22, 11:30 p.m. telecast of Family Guy scored Cartoon Network’s highest-ever adults 18-34 delivery for a single telecast—1,082,000 viewers and a 1.7 rating (also a network record).
The Wednesday, May 19, 11:30 p.m. telecast of Family Guy achieved the largest adults 18-24 delivery for a single telecast in Cartoon Network history—708,000 viewers.
Anyone notice that 90% of the time when Adult Swim gets record breaking ratings, it's on a Thursday? I wonder what draws people in on Thursdays.
Viewer cards?

Thus why they should air action premieres on Thursdays and drop Saturday. Even if they put the comedies before them, they'd still be higher watched on Thursday than Saturday.

Well, it seems like a pretty good portion of AS' audience is made up of college students. I know a lot of college students who arrange their schedules so as to have Friday off from classes. So I guess Thursday is the most likely night for a college student to be able to stay up late, but not have any social events (read: keggers) to attend. (-:
Wow.. that is amazing.. considering they aren't new anymore..
Just more of a reason why FAMILY GUY and not FUTURAMA should come to lead off the Saturday block..
I would also like to see ASA permiering on Thursdays if Saturdays should fail..

But Family Guy is leading the Sunday Block, and I doubt you would want to have the show on 6 days a week. Also, Futurama will be an easier break from Toonami then Family Guy. I mean, it's a comedy/action show in space with alcholic, and Gundam Seed is an action show in space with giant robots. See the point?

Uh.. Futurama is on whenever FG is on too.. (so it would be 6 days too if put instead of FG) >_>
Family Guy has record ratings again.. showing people still want to watch Family Guy... haven't seen that for Futurama lately..
Rating hit show should come to rating deprived Saturdays, a ratings deprived block.

I still think the whole Futurama on Saturday is illogical.
"Hey, man, wanna go to this killer party?"
"No, man. Futurama's coming on."

If they really wanted to boost Saturday ratings then they would have left Futurama on Sunday and brought Family Guy to Saturday instead of Futurama. Also, is Sealab that good? How did it manage to jump above Birdman, Space Ghost, and other comedies that I hear about?

Futurama needs a rest IMO. I love it but I've seen it enough.
Put Family Guy at 11PM, ATHF at 11:30PM then have the action.
Get rid of Saturday and have the action premieres on Thursdays and cards night on Tuesday.

I agree, people won't stay home just as something as overplayed as Futurama & something as repetive as SeaLab 2021.

How is Futurama overplayed but Family Guy isn't? Futurama has more episodes, doesn't it?

People who hate anime wouldn't stay home and watch Futurama when there's partying to be had.

Thursdays get ratings.
Put Futurama and Family Guy at the front of the block, enticing Action afterwards (Full Metal Alchemist and Cowboy Bebop), wrap it up with some Inuyasha and Wolf's Rain.
Betya it gets better ratings than Saturdays.

Well, Birdman doesn't have that many episodes, and Space Ghost reruns wouldn't work because of the talk show format. Several months ago they aired some really old episodes of Space Ghost on Sunday and it was just weird to listen to a celebrity talk about a new show premiering that got cancelled five years ago.
