I never heard of it.
I'll be damned. Tvshowsondvd.com has a street date of today for this release. Did WB really do a stealth release on this title?

Did WB really do a stealth release on this title?
They announced it at TVSHOWSONDVD.COM quite a few months ago.
This was actually announced in March. I was it on the "Upcoming sections" at tvshowsondvd and was like, damn!
They haven't even announced any features. Suffice to say, the 2 Spidey DVDs came first, in the list of priorites.
So, did anyone actually buy it?

I'll have to settle for getting this on August. I thought this would have been announced earlier on the Toonzone News section.

I looked through alot of stores like Wal-Mart and Toys 'R' Us and I couldn't find the DVD anywhere! Is anyone else having a hard time finding it?
And Toon Zone did announce this back in March. Here's the link:

Maybe this is against the rules or something but I found a post on another forum about the DVD and features:

it is post number 8.

I'm the same way the Wal-Mart here doesn't have it and they just recently rearranged the electronics section. Darned them. I did look it up and it is available to ship within 24 hours on Amazon.

While Joyride was only ok and Walk on the Wildside still makes me shudder (why did they put a musical montage in an episode of X-Men: Evo.?), Operation: Rebirth, which shows Wolverine and Captain America in WWII, and the first episode in the Apocalypse storyline, Mindbender, would definately make it worth buying for me.

Got it from Amazon.
As expected, the sound and picture is high quality. The menus aren't as detailed as they used to be, and that same annoying song plays on the main screen. I really, really miss the episode introductions. The extras here pale in comparison. The "meet the new mutants" featurette was worthless, as it's no new information and Rahne's name is once again mispronounced as "Rah-knee." The Brotherhood recruitment video is slightly better because it gives the tiniest bit of Mystique characterization. The Wolverine trivia challenge is so easy it's almost an insult, though older fans might get a chuckle out of it (One of the choices for "What is Xavier's mutant locator called?" is Moon Knight). I can only recommend the DVD for fans of the particular episodes or completists.

I bought the Enemies Unveiled today! I'm happy I've only had a chance to pop it in the DVD player. So after I post on the Forum I'll view the episodes. The quiz is truely cheesy. Even my friend that isn't really into EVO even knew the answers.
Jimbo I bought it for $9.99 at Fred Myers. So :0P

How would you rate the extras overall? I still haven't been able to find this DVD and I'd like to have it. I really like the Wolverine/Captain America episode and would like to see it before I start discussing it again.

I finally found this DVD at Toys R Us! They had it jammed behind some of the season one DVDs. I've already watched a couple of the episodes and plan to finish it off later. I'm disappointed with the extras. The recent DVDs for the show have been really disappointing. I'd like to see more discussion with the creators on the show not these little extra pointless featurettes. Complaints aside "Operation: Rebirth" and "Mindbender" never looked better! I may have to discuss those episode! They are a couple of my favorites.
When is the next X-Men: Evolution DVD coming out?

though this dvd has the worst evo ep, the selling points are the last 2 eps
1. Operation: Rebirth
2. Mindbender
hopefully, the remaining 5 episodes from Season 2 will be collected on one disc:
1. Shadowdance (lame)
2. Retreat (quite funny)
3. The HeX Factor
4. Day of Reckoning Part 1
5. Day of Reckoning Part 2

Glad to see more Evolution episodes make it to DVD even if they aren't the most popular ones. I'm really looking forward to the Day Of Reckoning episodes on DVD.
I have posted DVD screenshots for all Enemies Unveiled episodes on Beyond Evolution.

What happened to all the good extras some of the other X-Men: Evolution DVDs had? The first season DVDs had nice extras about the voice actors, designing the characters and all of that. And now we're just getting these useless fluff things that aren't worth even pressing play for? It's a shame because there are two land mark episodes on this set. "Operation: Rebirth" is one of the best episodes of the show and "Mindbender" not only has some of the best animation ever for the series but introduces Apocalypse. I would've loved to have seen featurettes or intros for these episodes.
I remember being bored out of my mind and disgusted by "Walk on the Wild Side" the first time I watched it...this time I didn't mind it all that much.
