The episode, which is directed by Steve Gordon, features Scott Summers and his brother Alex.

"As established in The Cauldron, Scott has a long-lost brother, separated since early childhood and only recently reunited. It stands to reason that, whenever possible, they'd want to spend time together," Johnson told The Continuum. " So Scott heads to Hawaii to be with Alex, where, with an escalation of problems, they must ultimately face some serious conditions at sea alone.

Alex was introduced during the first year during the season finale fight with Magrneto. As stated above, the episode was called The Cauldron.

" That's not to say the other characters aren't involved in the drama, because they are. Even the new recruits. Overall, between Steve's great direction, and (producer) Boyd Kirkland's dedication to quality in handling all the rest, it's a standout episode. Not to mention the animation is extremely well handled."

Alex is expected to pop up more throughout the 17 episode second season. Stay tuned for more X-Men: Evolution news here at TZN.
