BURBANK, CA (November 1, 2001) – On Saturday, October 27, the thrilling live-action series, The Nightmare Room, in its 11:00 a.m. ET time period, scared up its best ratings season-to-date in Kids 2-11 (3.5/14), Kids 6-11 (4.2/18), Boys 2-11 (4.3/17), Girls 2-11 (2.6/11) and Girls 6-11 (4.0/17). Produced by Tollin/Robbins – the same team that brought the smash hit “Smallville” to The WB, the new hit series ranks as one of the top 10 series in Kids 2-11, Kids 6-11, Boys 2-11, Boys 6-11 and Girls 6-11, and ranks as the #3 broadcast program in Kids 2-11, Kids 6-11, Boys 2-11 and Girls 6-11. A special scary-fun airing of The Nightmare Room, at 11:30 a.m. ET, led the time period competition, including cable, in Boys 6-11 (4.6/21), and finished #1 among the time period broadcast competition in Kids 2-11 (3.2/14), Kids 6-11 (4.1/19), Boys 2-11 (3.9/17) and Girls 6-11 (3.7/17).
Kids' WB!’s ghoulish line-up chilled audiences to rank as the #1 broadcast network in Kids 2-11 (3.0/13), Kids 6-11 (3.5/17), Boys 2-11 (4.0/16) and Boys 6-11 (4.5/20). Among Kids 2-11, the network outperformed Fox Kids (2.0/9), ABC (1.9/11) and CBS (1.8/9) for the eighth consecutive week. Season-to-date, Kids' WB! ranks #1 among all broadcast and cable competition in Boys 6-11 (5.1/23) and Boys 2-11 (4.4/18), tying with Nickelodeon (4.4/18).
