Here's somthing relatively funny, this is one page(front and back) of learning Kimura's face for the Trouble With Summer thing...yeah pool,pool,pool inspired it....the scribbles on the first page may look like nothing but crap

mind you that this was a rough sketch and the final one is much more cleaner and even and there will be shadows and colors...

now to find that Newtype digital coloring steps thing that I've been using...

all in all I'd say 5-10 minutes and I learned his face...considering that it was the first time drawing it...

I don't think the first page looks like crap at all, its always interesting to see another artist's technique and how they go about familiarising themselves with the featurers and structure of a subject. What's great about these pics is you can really see how you're pulling the thing together - now I can't wait to see the finished product :)
