Did you know that Lois and Clark was filmed in widescreen?? I'm doing some resarch for a paper on widescreen vs full frame movies, and I came across this in an FAQ on www.widescreen.org....

How will new digital TVs affect widescreen?
Digital TVs are going to be wider than existing TVs; therefore they will be more capable of displaying widescreen movies. (Lois and Clark and Babylon 5 are actually filmed in widescreen, but the TV stations refuse to let them be shown that way!)
Although HDTVs will be wider than existing TVs, they will not be in a full aspect ratio of 2.35:1; therefore, there will still be a need for letterboxing on movies which are wider than 1.85:1, but the "black bar" effect will be reduced.

Wouldn't it be cool if L&C was released in widscreen on DVD??
