I don't have a huge problem or anything, but I think the 'new' Cartoon network is a little odd. I miss the old Cartoon Network, with the blue bumper background and the Cartoon Network logo. That girl's voice("This is Cartoon Network") gets on my nerves. So does anyone else hate the new Cartoon Network like I do? Feel free to comment and post. I'm Out.

Just the BIG network bug you see on the lower right-hand corner.

Actually, I like the "new" Cartoon Network plugs. I was never a real fan of the blue backgrounds with the CN logo coming up different ways. I only liked it because they had the voice over actors do the voices of the character(s) and plug their show. My favorite still being the return to Dexter's Laboratory from Yakko:

"We now return to Dexter's Lavatory... THAT'S a show?! Some kid in his bathroom?

(Dexter's Lab logo pops up)

Oh, LABoratory...heh heh, I get it."

But when they changed it from being the character's voice to being the same male voice each time for the plug in and out of commercial, it became boring. At least with this one, it's more imaginative instead of just the same background each time. But personally, my favorite plugs are the ones from 6-7 yrs. ago, when they had the character's voice, but had cut scenes from an episode and filled in the CN logo somewhere....they're still done now, but not as often -- just like I miss the "Screwy Ain't It?" plugs. :p

It's good. Just get used to it.

The new logo. They could've done better with it; have made it to where it transforms from the old logo to the new one, so that they could use old promos without controversy.

The new announcer; because her voice is played where other voices used to fit fine (ie. the KND spots, Our Funniest Eds spots, etc).

The new layout (I don't really hate it, but there are problems with it), because then they won't be able to use design like before the revamp.

I like the new cartoon network. But I really don't like how the intro goes first then we go to commercals before the show actually starts with the episode.

Because now there are more commercials but they take less time.

Aside from the more obstructive logo, one problem I had occured while I was watching one of the hour-long Scooby-Doo movies. It was the first one that featured Batman and Robin and it to commercial break during the climactic chase scene in the toy factory, which certainly doesn't occur when it aired normally. Certainly a disappointment in that regard.

As I said over in the original talkback thread, I don't have a single complaint about the new look. The bumpers are cool, the logo is just right, and the new voiceover girl is really cool.

i am used to the logo by now. i hated it at first now it is ok. the thng is though. i was watching some cl episdoes i taped like 2 weeks ago and i saw the old logo and it made me sad. it was around for so long............*Sob*

anyways the girls voice is fine but her jokes are not funny. they are really lame. and they don't go with the show. its like "Don't use the laundrey downtown. it stole 50 cents from me today. and i'm pretty sure Billy had something to do with it. Coming up next is Scooby Doo." see if your gonna make a joke make it be about the show coming up next. that is just really annoying. the i bumpers are great.......it was about time.......

I still want the old logo back. I can't believe it's gone from the network...

I agree with Kat about the jokes, but I don't like the 3-d stuff. It ruins the idea of drawn cartoons

I don't really have a problem with the "new Cartoon Network". I like the female annoncer but she gets on my nerves sometimes. I want the old annoncer back, I can't believe he's gone from the network. I like the new logo and the "Cartoon Network city" bumper so I don't have a problem with that.

I still want the old logo back. I can't believe it's gone from the network...It's not gone. You see it on commercials (promos) all over the place. As I've said, they weren't prepared for the revamp. If they were, they would've changed something.

Are the characters in 3D? No. They're not.

I don't like the change that much

1) The anouncer sucks
2) The scheule changed you've got baby loony tunes for an hour a day and rescue heros.

I think there is one more but its on the tip of my tongue I'll get back to you on that

3 commercials per-show is crazy! What is this ABC Family or Kids WB? :( The new logo gets in the way, I thought the old cartoon network was a lot better. How can I tape a new ep of anything if they randomly show commercials. :o

The only thing I have a problem with is the three commerical thing, mainly when they break up segments of actual shows. Maybe not for Ed Edd n Eddy or Codename Kids Next Door, but what about the Powerpuff Girls, among other shows? Otherwise, I'm likin the new CN. Too bad they don't actual promote they're shows more though.

I like their little CN ads during commercial breaks. I've seen a lot of TT ads and a few TS ads. Hey! That makes me happy. :p

That's what I'm sayin'! I was watchin' an episode of "A Pup Named Scooby Doo" the other day, and when the show was about to end(You know, when Shaggy says "I couldn't of done without my pal A Pup Named..." then Scooby says "Scooby Dooby Doo!") Well, anyways, Shaggy and Scooby had just said that, but then the screen went black and they showed the same scene again! That pissed me off! I was going to start taping "A Pup Named Scooby Doo" next week, but now I'm a little hesitant because every episode I've seen keeps messing up. Plus they ruin the show with their constant commercials. I also used to watch Boomerang every weekend, but now I haven't because of the constant commercials. Well, I'm Out.

It took me a week to get used to it. I like it a lot (except for the voiceover girl) but it REALLY surprised me that day when it changed. However, it seems that CN has ditched the older, cheaper styles from 1992 - 2004. Those 12 years had similar styles, with minor voiceover changes and new bumpers every now and then. I believe that the new CN will also have voiceover changes from time to time and some new bumpers. What CN really needs right now are some more show advertisments, instead of filling the commercial time with show bumpers. Don't get me wrong, the new bumps are cool, but they really need more show ads telling what show will be on on what time, or a show's new season. If they don't advertise like that, most of the CN viewers (who don't have satellite) won't be at all informed. But it has also been several weeks since it started, so it will take time for them to advertise like that. About the 3 commercial breaks, well it's annoying to break 3 times in the middle of shows that were designed for 2 breaks. Probably a show's new episodes will have 3 breaks instead of CN's usual 2, making it easier for viewers to watch, instead of taking a break in the middle of a chase in Scooby Doo, or a fight in Teen Titans, etc. However, for older shows, they will still have to break in the middle of something, so get used to it.

I...hated it, the first two hours I saw it, but it quickly grew on me and I don't believe I could ever go back.

I like the real OLD cartoon network like a year after it first debuted on TV. When they still had the Banana Splits, Ed Grimly and Yo Yogi! had first appeared. It was more cartoonish and just appealed more to me.

I dunno perhaps I'm spoiled since I was on of the lucky ones who recieved Cartoon Network the day it went on the air. When they aired Space Ghost, Fantastic Four, Fantastic Max and other old cartoons.

I don't like what cartoon network has become compared to what it was. I like the new cartoon network better than the previous incarnation but not more than some of the original looks. Now if only we could count on them to just air some old cartoons we wouldn't expect like the old days instead of constant newness.

I mean I'd take a possible return of Histeria!, Freakazoid, Samurai Pizza Cats, Project Geeker, The Garfield Show, Danger Mouse, Bucky O' Hare or something like that instead of a new anime or cartoon cartoon. I doubt the new cartoon network could deliver on that where as with the old one there was a chance.

The logo bugged me for a little while. I was always used of the old logo. I didn't get CN until 2001. However, I watched it on weekend visits to my uncle's who had it since 1996 or 1997. So, I guess my comment is not good due to CN being on the air since 1992, and I didn't get the channel until almost a decade later! I do not like the voice over girl either. I do like how they made the cartoon "realistic" city commercials. Those are neat. I like that I do not have to sit through 5-minutes of commercial breaks when a show is finished anymore. To me, it is not that big of a deal. I think I will also say that I do not always like Cartoon Network's programming decisions.

I also got Cartoon Network when it first premeired. Unfortunately, I was only 2 years old, so I don't remember much. i do remember watching "Josie & The Pussycats" late at night and the old Boomerang weekend mornings. I have a problem with "Scooby Alley". I miss "Scooby Universe". It was cool and I got so used to it. "Scooby Alley" looks so cheesey and looks as if they made it up a week before the new CN appeared. Well, I'm Out.

To be honest, I hated the new bumpers at first, especially the Camp Cartoon ones (too little kidish). But the others quickly grew on me. I like the way the Cartoon Cartoon characters interact in a real world-style setting- it really showcases the types of cartoons on CN. It sorta reminds me of the life-sized statues of Warner Bros. characters for Looney Tunes. And the new logo is compact and yet still shows what network you're watching, and retains the old look in some ways.

I'm still getting used to the commercial breaks inbetween the show intros and the first act (ex: Ed, Edd, and Eddy)- I'd rather have a longer break halfway through, but I'm sure I'll adjust.

I hate the new logo. It looks liek a weird new "cool" look, with the slanted blocks, I liked the classic looking checkerboard logo. The rest is good though.

We still haven't determined who's voice it actually is right? I mean I'm still under the impression that it's Tara Strong, but could I be wrong?

I may be one of the few who hates the new Cartoon Network. Not only is their schedules all messed up and lackluster,I'm not bothering to watch the channel anymore.

I liked CN better back in early 2002-2003.

Nothing worng with Cartoon Network...except for some show times for some shows. They had that all the time. It's sickening (think about .hack//DUSK (or SIGN) and more Miguzi).
