Static recently appeared in a Static Mini-Series called Static: Rebirth of the Cool. While McDiffue confirmed the charcater is hitting the page, he didn't say where the story would see print.
"I can't name the publication where it will appear quite yet, nor can I tell you the name of the incredibly talented artist who is currently finishing up the pencils (although I can hint that he's very familiar with Static)," he wrote. "Let's just say that more information will be forthcoming shortly and that it's all for a very good cause."
It is rumored this story will be apart of DC Comics's upcoming benefit comic for the September 11th tragedy.
