Dunno if there is a thread about this but I can't wait to see Advent Children in America!!!! The new Cloud and Sephiroth look so cool, but Sephiroth doesn't look as cool as he does in the game though, but he looks more evil-ish. I like Cloud's new look though, he looks very cool. And now he doesn't have that giant hair spike in the middle of his head anymore :sweat: Has anyone seen the second trailor with Tifa in it? Cloud's motorcycle is so cool...I think I saw 6 swords on it...Hmmm...........6 swords...:eek: ...:evil: ...imagine what you can do with 6 huge swords...I also like Sephiroth's HUGE HUGE sword too...

Given the fact that E3 unveiled an English trailer, I'm assuming that they will. Besides, if they didn't, they'd be cutting themselves off from a lot of revenue. And, I'd raid their offices and cause a lot of property damage. :D

And might I add, the English trailer looks fricken sweet. Not too sure how some of the physics feel (sometimes, the movements felt too fast to be natural) when in the movement, but the models are certainly nice. From what I've seen, Vincent seems to look the most similar to his in-game persona. He doesn't need the anime eyes to look exceedingly creepy. :D

In either case, I'm looking forward to it. And someone might want to put a "Spoilers" on this. That would be a Mod's call, though. :)

I'm definitely intrigued by the realistic look they've taken with the character designs and how they look. I haven't seen the second trailer, only the first debut one, so I guess I'll have to look for that one. I can't wait for it to come out, I'll definitely see it. A sequel to a game that really set the RPG world on fire.. :D

As much as I loved playing FFVII, I had a hard time taking it seriously because the characters all looked like lego people. :p Hell, I even laughed during the famous Aeris scene because it looked so stupid!
She was shishkabobbed by a giant sword and didn't even BLEED!!

Anyway, I am TOTALLY looking forward to this movie. I was very dissapointed by the game ending because there was no closure. I spent over 60 hours playing that game and I didn't even get to see if all the characters survived that explosion!!! When I put 60 hours of my life into an RPG I want the ending to have some closure, damn it!!!! :mad:

Sorry, but didn't play FFVII. But I do want to play SOME of the Final Fantasy games, but I don't have a console, I suck at all games EXCEPT Gunbound, which is a MMORPG from Korea which you can only play on your PC.

In the past, when I still have Digital Cable, and when TechTv still existed, the hosts at X-Play showed a trailer of it (I think it was English...or was it Japanese?).

I'm GLAD they didn't use the animé models from the game! As much as I loved playing FFVII, I had a hard time taking it seriously because the characters all looked like lego people.What I think people mean by the anime style is the look of the characters, not the technological restraints of CGI of 5+ years ago. If the charactres looked like their Kingdom Hearts counterparts (not EXCACTLY, but the style as in not realistic) but with a higher polycount and professional level CGI I would be much more enthused about Advent Children. as it stands now, I'm only merely interested to see it.

I think it could be Hojo, Lucrecia, or Jenova.
And I really doubt it could be Jenova(then again I've never finished the game yet) because from what I've seen, Jenova looks more like a machine then human...and the person in the wheelchair looks like a human rather then machine...and I think Jenova it kinda bigger then that person...I haven't known anything on Lucrecia but I think she's Vincent's love or something and Hojo is a crazy scientist...So I most likely think it's Aeris...maybe she is pissed off at Cloud for letting her get stabbed by Sephiroth? And plus she's the only one that would make sense(if any) because she's the only one that MIGHT have a motive against Cloud(besides hating him for no reason *coughSephycough*) And Aeris was an Ancient/Cetra so many she had some cool power to live or something? Red XIII(Nanaki) is definetly confirmed alive, but strange that he hasn't been seen in the movie yet...

Alright, don't go crazy or anything, but according to one of the bigger Final Fantasy websites, it said the movie was supposed to be released July 10th. Now i can't confirm that cause it was only one one website, but they seem to be pretty well informed, but as we all know (at least for those of us who waited endless months for Justice League's Starcrossed) these things can change. But hey, there's hope and its supposedly is soon. I'm super looking forward to it as well, i just finished playing 7 and though it was not nearly as good as 10 it was still really sweet.

Oh, I'm at the point in the game that you try to find Junon Harbor, kinda hard to find though..also trying to find Yuffie, any pointers on it or get stronger and everything else?

Wait if your at Junon Harbor, you've passed the location to get Yuffie and Vincent, Yuffie is near the forests by Ft. Condor(she's a random encounter) and Vincent is in the old manor in Cloud's Town...

I heard it is going to be released on DVD and the PSP, so I would not be suprized if we had to wait until late 2005.

Yuffie can be found in more than one forrest, however you may regret finding her as she is a real pain.

You get Leviathan from Yuffie's side-quest it's more than worth it...

What I think people mean by the anime style is the look of the characters, not the technological restraints of CGI of 5+ years ago. If the charactres looked like their Kingdom Hearts counterparts (not EXCACTLY, but the style as in not realistic) but with a higher polycount and professional level CGI I would be much more enthused about Advent Children.I think that the animé/Kingdom Hearts designs of the characters weren't used because Square was going for a very dark and serious atmosphere in Advent Children. Even the refined look the FFVII characters got in KH would look out of place in the new movie (Cloud's gigantic hair-do would get in the way of all the sword swipes :p).
But thats just my opinion. Even if the lego people designs were used, I'd still be totally excited about Advent Children! :D
