Well today was our last day for gym class in our high school. Our gym teacher decided to play softball outside. Everyone was happy and such... He didn't make us run anything, which really helped. :D So it was time to pick teams. Like in Middle school, I was picked close to last. I thought oh well, tough luck.. I patiently waited for my turn, couple people cut me because they were in popular crowd. I shrugged it off because it was the last day of gym class. I'm a fairly good player in softball/baseball but I don't feel like playing on the school team because time is an issue. Eventually it was my turn to bat, everyone was like let's get in the outfield for a catch. I smacked the ball so far it went all the way to the fence. I started to run. It was full bases, like some of the people the popular crowd at my school are they started to walk... While I ran my hardest, without knowing I passed my teammate who were on first and second plate.

Anyway as the match continued, our team started win by 3 to 1. Then it was my turn again. I hit it again but I was expecting a catch in the right field. Surprisingly, the ball went over his head, so I walked over to first. There my friend, we are not close friends but still friends as we occasionally say hi to each other in hallways. But we don't know each other well. I think I'll remember this for rest of my life, "You are the most ackward kid, I've ever met. I mean it in a good way. You are able to succeed and become successful in the most unique ways that surprises everyone on your team."

This reason I liked what she said, all throughout my life, no person has ever said that to me. Also I never did have girlfriend or girls that I knew real closely. So this is really special to me. I hope I don't sound like a sissy.

I wanted to share this with everyone. I think I'm going to miss high school in a special way more so than I miss middle or elementary school.

I hated gym class. Mainly because we didn't play anything I have any remote sense of talent for.

Gym class is always fun for me. Plus the school hasn't outlawed dodgeball either.:)

That's a nice story, Zapages:)

I finished my gym class this year in our nutrition unit. We watched a video "Life in the Fat Lane" then turned in our locks for the locker room. I'm so glad my last two years of high school I don't have to take gym. I have sports, so I'll be ok.

I wish I could have taken Gym in High School, but I always passed it up for a class I actually needed. I did have the school teams, so I got in plenty of running. Not very much weight training, but that was my fault.

And I feel bad for you kids who go through school without knowing many people except for those in your "group." My school is so small that I knew pretty much all the High Schoolers and some of the small kids by name, address, and what they drove to school and where they ate at lunch.

My HS life was pretty good, but I just want to go to college and get it over with. UMKC here I come.

I remembered the last time I played softball. I intensionally ran someone over and got detension. Nothing beats a good game of Healing Stick, that game alone made elementary tolerable. 6th through 8 I just partied in football...the bad kind of partying, along with the Untouchable's usual jumpings. Glad you got recognition.

Well that was a cute, inspiring story, Zap. I dont think Ive ever had somebody call me akward and taken it as compliment, but then most people are scared of me. So I wouldnt expect them to say something that would possibly get them hurt. :p Not like I'd really do it, I'm not a bad or mean guy by any means, unless you mess with me, even then I refuse to maliciously beat somebody when I or someone close to me is not in danger of receiving bodily harm, but I do give out that vibe of "I could snap and kill you if you even look at me funny". It's not intentional, just the natural look of my face and my body language, I guess, but for the most part it makes things easier as people dont bother you as much, which is great cause I dont like most of the people at my school. I'm glad I decided to be nice to this one seemingly dumb, annoying girl, though. I'm so glad I did. She turned out to be the girl of my dreams, literally perfect to me, and I didnt like her when I first met her! Now we're, to steal a qoute from Forrest Gump, "Like peas and carrots". :p Aint that some poo? :D Stuff like that teaches me never to judge a book by it's cover, unless the book has no cover and all the jackassey goodness of that person just sorta hangs out.

I hate Gym Class. All we played last year was basketball which I hate and suck at. =( Dodgeball's still fun, though.
