It has some neat downloads, character info, DVD info, and even voice clips of Anita.
Though...One thing bothers me.
"Rated 13+ - mild violence, language, suggested nudity."
Suggested?
...Did they even watch episode 9 before they wrote that page?

Nice...
I'm happy that this show has finally been liscenced. I like the voice clips of Anita. She's my favorite character in the show.

Finally?
It was licensed before it even started airing...

Haven't seen R.O.D The TV (silliest title ever...) yet. Love to see how this turns out.

My bad...I totally messed up the wording and was thinking of something else. I meant finally the dvds are coming out.
Lord Dalek, do you think R.O.D is a weird title or Read or Dream, just out of curiosity. I thought Read or Die was a very unuasal name when I first heard of it a long while ago.

R.O.D. The TV is a pretty entertaining show. It's got good action, entertaining characters, random bouts of intense violence and nudity, and a story best described as "totally freakin' ridiculous." Plus, it actually answers one of the biggest lingering questions from the Read or Die OAV series.
Geneon probably should have changed the title to just "R.O.D TV", though. Much less Engrishy.

It's a good show, but will probably be totally destroyed on North American TV, simply because Japenese culture is really wasted overseas.

Who says it's even going on N. American TV, save maybe for the Anime Network?

The only nudity I remember was in episode 9. Poor C Cup-chan. ;_;
And the Japanese licensors asked them to keep it ROD The TV.
I don't think it means primarily "ROD The TV series".
Mainly, I think it means "ROD: The TV" as in "Yomiko Readman: ZAAA PEIPAAA!"

Never said it would, I'm just saying that if it does, it's going to be drastically changed. Now that you bring it up, though, I fully expect someone in North America to pick the series to air on TV. But not without airing the movies first to see if people actually care about the series.

Not much would be changed.
A bit of blood here and there.
Though I see no way they can air episode 9.
That episode was edited on Japanese TV. (Though it was shown uncut when it first aired on Pay-Per-View.)

I hope not. I don't get Action either, but they're seemingly getting everything else (http://forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?t=113770)...
But I'm getting it on DVD anyway, so channel debates get a big  from me...

Perhaps the DVD's will be individually age-ranged. The DVD that contians ep 9 will have a higher rating.

One thing you should keep in mind, is that the version you guys have probably seen is the Pay-Per-View preview version. It has some incomplete animation and things that were all touched up for the broadcast and DVD versions of this show. In the broadcast version of episode 9, there was a lot of steam added to the cave scene, so nothing was actually shown. I'm not sure if the DVD would change it back, but it's not impossible - but if the worst it gets is "suggested nudity", there's your reason.
I wish I could find the site with the comparison pics so I could show you what I mean.
This was one of my favorite series from last year. Maggie rocks. They should've let her drive more. Anyway, I'll definitely be picking it up on DVD. The dub voices seem alright. I'll probably try to get the special book box.
