Bad News regarding "I'm Popeye"

I checked out my monthly cable tv magazine today, and it has no listings for I'm Popeye" for the entire month of November.My gut feeling about this, is that this show might not premiere any time soon..Maybe early next year maybe ????

I hope I'm wrong, I want this series to come on as soon as possible here....

Well, it means they haven't got it planned to air anytime soon. If somehow things are ironed out, it could air soon, even this month. But don't hold your breath...

You gotta remember, Nelson, that those cable guides are published way in advance and that the publishers go by what is given to them by the print date. Listings change constantly. That's why I don't get those large cable books. Stick with TV GUIDE instead.

As for the "I'm Popeye" show, we'll just have to wait it out...

I'm checking Excite.com TV, and they still list I'm Popeye for Nov. 12. For this week and last they listed The Tex Avery Show.

The general lead time for some sources can be as long as six weeks as far as when information has to be sent and as short as two, depending on printing schedules. Rarly is it less than two weeks.
