I just woke up, and saw the ending to THE LITTLE ORPHAN, then they played TWO LITTLE INDIANS. Gutsy for so late in the morning.

P.S. Safety Second looked mostly unedited...

I really wish they'd run "Old Rockin' Chair Tom"! (Of course, it'd be just my luck if they did, a storm blew out our cable last night and it's not back on yet. Luckily, I still got LNB/W.)

Hey Matthew:

You can find "Old Rockin' Chair Tom" in its complete un-dubbed Mammy glory on the MGM/UA video 'Starring Tom & Jerry'. "The Midnight Snack" is also on this video. Try looking for it in your local video stores or try your library. My library has many of these videos in real good shape which makes for good dubbing.

I don't have that video, but I've watched it before, that's the only place I'd ever seen that cartoon. I think I remember the video having a yellow cover with Tom playing a flute, am I right?

Yup, the cover of STARRING TOM AND JERRY looked like this:

It is a very good T&J video from MGM/UA. I also recommend all three volumes of TOM AND JERRY'S 50th BIRTHDAY CLASSICS. That series includes original, uncut versions of "Puss Gets the Boot", "Mouse Cleaning", "A Mouse in the House", "Part-Time Pal", and "Fraidy Cat".
