"Forward March Hare" (LT, Jones, 1953)
"Tweety and the Beanstalk" (MM, Freleng, 1957)
"Feed the Kitty" (MM, Jones, 1952)
"Drip-Along Daffy" (MM, Jones, 1951) (edited)
"Guided Muscle" (LT, Jones, 1955)
"Hoppy-Go-Lucky" (LT, McKimson, 1952)
"Rabbit Seasoning" (MM, Jones, 1952)

Quite a lot of Jones today. And yes, they're still cutting the "one horse town" line, although it's incredibly sloppy (they could at least attempt a fake iris out instead of cutting directly to the "That's All Folks" screen).

Watching CN's Looney Tunes Show, you'd think Warner Bros. only made cartoons for a short 10 year period.

Does anyone else really like Forward March Hare?

I like it, espeicially the "Well, I'm seargant Porky Pig(!) And I'm colonel Tweety Pie (!) General Puddy Tat wants to see you" lines. I also like the eye chart gag and the ending with Bugs testing assembly line bombs. :bugs1:

"And just think! In another thirty years I can retire!"

A pretty underrated short, IMO. I was glad to see it this morning. Another thing I was glad to see is that "Tweety and the Beanstalk" was unedited - the ending wasn't cut off prematurely like it was on certain other channels (however, the video tranfer of the short itself is pretty poor).

I also liked when Bugs "dressed the chickens for dinner.*

Forward March Hare was quite obvious made to be a "smoke-screen" to keep Joe McCarthy and his minions from searching their studio for communists. And, thank God it worked!!!
