Can you say one hundred, boys and girls? Because that probably the number of hours you'll be spending with this game apparently. 100 hundred hours of Spritely RPG, with action packed battles that wage with other hand drawn characters..there's multiple endings too

so you need to play more 100 hour games to see them all

all this for 50 bucks

and people complain about no replay value, this is replay value TO THE EXTREME!

probably 1000+ hours to see everything

Well I'd better get that game then, because there'll be hell to pay if I don't, because those kinds of games fetch a pretty penny when discontinued.

I prefer quality over quantity. That's why I don't like RPGs as much as other games. Don't get me wrong, I really do like RPGs. I've wasted well over 100 hours on Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, and Pokemon, and Skies of Arcadia...and God knows what else.

It does feel like I justify my purchase if I can kill hour after hour with an RPG. But I like games that challenge my gaming skills a bit more. Games like Ikaruga, Resident Evil, or Viewtiful Joe. Games that aren't really long, but are hard as hell and make me come back for more.

But that's me.

Well if you try to do everything, and I mean everything in the game, then you'll probably hit the advertised 100 hours. Otherwise La Pucelle shouldn't take more than about 30-35, if you're just playing for the story, at least that's what I've found.

Though that's pretty standard with most SRPGs.

Long? Took me 5 days playing off and on to finish.

I highly doubt you maxed everyones levels and got all the secret characters. If you did you have offically broke the world record by hundreds of hours.

But Opaque, one doesn't have to complete 100% of a game to finish. One has to defeat the big boss guy at the end.

Now, you personally, may consider that a game hasn't been truly completed unless one has found every item, unlocked every character/model/et cetera, but that's not everyone.

There is no need to max out if you can beat the game at a lower level. The tatics and stragity to defeat the enemy with lower hit points, health, ect, makes a worthy challenge compared to somebody that maxed out and finished off everyone easily. I applaud anyone that can finish any RPG 100%, but I can respect those that didn't and put more thought into their battle plan to complete the game.
