Hello all,

Just thought of this question: let's say you were to adapt a Batman-less book or movie into a script for either BTAS or TNBA. Which book or movie would you do, and how would you do it?

My idea comes from a very obscure source, and, to me, seems like it would be a BTAS idea (if it were allowed a wee bit more darkness and maturity). There's this old french horror movie called Eyes Without a Face. It's about this surgeon who, guilty over the disfiguring his daughter's face in a car accident, goes a bit over the edge and starts kidnapping girls from the city. What he is doing is knocking them out and removing their faces (!) and trying as hard as he can to graft one onto the face of his daughter. His daughter, meanwhile is having to deal with the fact that she is publicly dead (she was engaged and all) and she is forced to wander around the mansion wearing a smooth, featureless mask that makes her look like a living porcelain doll.

To make a long story short, the doctor's daugther ends up befriending one of the kidnapped girls, and, essentially, they become responsible for calling the police and having everything shut down. The daughter confronts her father, and it ends with the daughter commanding her father's dogs to attack and kill him. She then wanders off into the night.

Now, to be perfectly honest, I don't know entirely how this could be an episode, but I've got some firm ideas, and it's basically in that Barbara Gordon would probably be the girl kidnapped then befriended by the doctor's daughter, and Batman and everyone become involved that way.

Well, it's a start. I'd love to hear some of your ideas! Fire away.
