Well, I've just watched the Justice League pilot. I was pretty critical in my review, I think. Anyway, expect it up soon on TZ.

Well, I liked it a lot. I mean, there are defintely areas where it could be better, which is what I talked about in my review. It just had a really different feel from all the other Timm and Co. shows of the 90's. Not that that is a bad thing. I'm not sure if the music was just a track that was used for the pilot because the music wasn't done yet, but I wasn't too thrilled with it. Not bad, but not up to my expectations.

You haven't missed it. It premieres November 17th. I just got it because I work with TZ and CN sends us stuff to review, etc. We're one of their press sites. We get their press kits.

Different TZ reviewers will be checking in at different times, I think. Brian is talking about packaging some of the shorter reviews together, and putting longer reviews up by themselves. And some of the reviewers still haven't received the material.

Look for them around next week. As Maxie said, some are being combined and many of the TZ staff haven't received their videos yet.

Just got done typing my review. I'm pretty danged happy with it. Since it's a pilot, it didn't get to branch off into complex plots of psychological studies, but it did introduce the characters admirably and shows great heaping bucketloads of potential. Far too many ramblings on this show will be up on the newspage soon.

Side comment from what I've been hearing (okay, this mainly has to do with animated, but still). Remember the first episode of STAS (I'm specifically thinking "Last Son of Krypton" part 3)? There were definite parts where the animated wasn't good at all, and the characters looked flat. But it improved (forget about "Superman's Pal" here). The way I hear it, JL is taking a semi-new animated direction, so it'll take time to adjust.

Anyway...Yay! Reviews! People liking it! Yay!

I think the newspage will unveil some next week, and then the week of the premiere, there may be one a day. Mine won't be until then, I think. I want to do a huge review for the show and it may take a while. :)

I can't believe I'm getting press kits now! Just 3 years ago I was a meager message board site...:)

It's pretty amazing how far this place has come in such a seemingly short amount of time! I really think not just the founding moderators deserve recognition for their hard work but each of the posters as well! Without them, this place wouldn't be much of anything!

Yes, the animation does look different. I mean, this first few minutes, I didn't even know it was "Justice League." The animation has greatly improved.

Well, Brian got the bulk of the press kit, I just got a copy of the pilot. In the Press kit, there were folders of information about "Justice League," probably character descriptions and what have you.
