All the games are pretty stupid...its like watching a hentai movie, except you have to let go of your you-know-what...

wouldn't fly on "less childish" American gamers: ^_^

You know it always surprised me that at least one of these dating sims never made it to the U.S.

I mean, I've see people play the sims, that game gets pretty racey at times.

Interesting thing is that Bishojo games is very popular in Japan and games from America bearly get noticed at all over there. For example, the wildly popluar Starcraft is huge all over the world except in Japan.

This is why I like Sakura Taisen. Dating Sim and Mecha combat action rolled into one.

Not all bishoujo games are hentai!


Just wanted to let y'all know since some people in this topic don't seem to realize that.

And even some H games are great. Like Tsukihime and Fate/Stay Night.
But those are like needle-in-a-haystack games, since games of that quality don't come around often.

Some even get a all-ages port to major game consoles!
hell, some start out on consoles.

Pretty simple really: Japanese play dating sims, Americans play "The Sims"...

To me, both are like watching dry paint, but at least with dating sims you can watch some really fine dry paint ;)
