I found this while surfing the net.

if you look under red and white costumed anime girls, you'll see Asuka and Rei in American style. They look very good.

I'm really liking that colored Rei picture. It's been a while since I've seen some Timm art, guess it's time to check out his site again.

The "White costumed anime girl" colored version looks pretty nice overall. Rei definately looks a bit older in that drawing then the usual drawings of her.

It's really interesting to see the different interpitations of characters...

And I know that looks like one picture that would be reasonable as a Comic some where, but also in like one of the specials, make it like she has that suit as a Holloween costume and all, I mean that would be surprising to me, but I also Spotted a Raven Drawing from the Teen Titans cartoon also on there wich the Cartoon Network forums would probbly like alot, but overall those 2 look pretty good.

I guess that answers the question "What would it look like if the animated version Barbara Gordon cosplayed as Asuka?"
oh wow, nice find. I like how Asuka and Rei drawings are. They look very nice. :anime:
Also I like some of the other drawings that are there. Very cool.

eeeeeks!!
thats just wrong! ugly american realistic art style  theres a reason even realistic anime doesn't look super real and thats because real real is ugly! http://members.aol.com/kimminakochan/chicken.gif
I prefer the Rei drawing.

Timm needs to draw more anime characters.

No offense, but those pale in comparison to the original anime characters. And I'm not just saying that cauze I'm used to the original characters; I've seen a lot of good doujinshi that outdoes the original anime characters but unfortunately, Bruce is not one of them...
Bruce Timm should stick to drawing anime-style comic book characters like he usually does...

Rei looks older which is really cool. As for Asuka, there is a cold chill down my spine when I look at that picture. She looks creepy especially her eyes.

I sure hope you're being sarcastic 'cause that's a damned pigheaded thing to say.
