I should know this, but I don't...

Out of the Ultimate Universe, I have...

The Ultimates #1, 7-13.
Ultimate Daredevil and Elektra #1-4
Ultimate Adventures #1
Ultimate War #1-4
Ultimate Fantastic Four #1-6

I'm catching up via trades as little as I can (namely, if I find out we have the entire Hollywood arc in stand-alones, I'll pick that up), and I'm picking up X-Men and Spidey from now on (With Carnage and whatever the new X-arc is).

So, with X and Spidey trades... what issues are skipped?

Also, what's this Arachnoman variant I'm hearing about?

Far as I know, no issues are skipped in TPBs. They're designed for them, which often has fans complaining that nothing of importance happens in the issues.

There's also Ultimate Team Up #1-19 and an Ultimate Spider-Man Special, which was basically #20.

I was gonna post about this too. Cuz I'm doin the same thing with Ultimate Spidey and X-men.

How do they explain how Spidey met the Lizard and Logan beofre when we're not shown it? does it happen "off-camera" or is it int he Ultimate Team up stuff (I always assummed that was out of continuity myself...)?

and is Ultimate 6 really supposed to take place after the Black Cat arc, or is that just where they felt like putting it?

The issue of whether the Ultimate Marvel Team-Up stories are in continuity or not is discussed here:

but the short answer is that unless specified otherwise by Brian Michael Bendis, the writer (such as the Fantastic Four story), the UMT-U stories are in continuity.

The Lizard and Logan stuff is in MArvel TeamUp and Ultimate 6 takes place before teh Black Cat arc.

No. Some copies of Ultimate Spider-Man Vol. 4: Legacy list the included issues as #s 22-26 on the back cover, but as listed in the publication information within, do indeed contain issue #27. Simple printing error.
