I remember an NES game that I played once when I was younger... I dont remember the name of it. I think it was called something like Shadowman or Darkman or something, but I'm not sure.
You were this superhero/detective type character... and you could talk to the people in the game. Sometimes the people you talked to would fight you (I remember sometimes before someone would fight you they would say "I'm going to have to take you down a peg or two.")
The main thing I remember about the game was that when you "died," you were actually put in some kind of trap that you had the potential to escape from. For example, one of the traps you could be put into was a room where the walls were slowly closing in on you... but if you pulled three sections of pipe from the wall and put them together, you could stick it between the walls and keep them from smooshing you, and escape, and be back in the game. But, if you lost too many lives, eventually you were put into a trap that you could not escape from, and you died.
Does anyone remember this game, or am I crazy?? What was it called??
