Did Chuck just not WANT the trivia bit or what? Its obvious that the animated opening was probably in house produced by his studio. But it seems so odd to see Toonheads and Bob Clampett and tex Avery and now I'm Popeye laden with trivia....and the Chuck Jones show has nothing of the sort.

Has anyone evr actually asked why before? Is it maybe cause he's the only one with a "show" still alive or something?

I think that it is just that CN is too cheap and just slaps together 3 CJ shorts at random for each show. We can all remember the weeks when it was the Chuck Jones and Bob McKimson show. Clearly, they aren't planning these too far in advance.

I agree with Joe that CN's Chuck Jones Show seems slapped together without much care.

After saying that, I was pleasantly surprised by tonight's fright themed show.

Future episodes could spotlight three cartoons featuring short-run characters like Charlie Dog, Claude Cat, and the Three Bears.

It wasn't done by Jones' studio... it was done by an outfit called Wild Brain. There was a piece about it on the Animation Blast news site (http://www.animationblast.com/news/may01/) in May.
