Seriously, I cannot get the beat and lyrics of that song out of my head! I think the last time I saw the commercial was when Kids WB was good, so you know how long that's been! And it's still stuck in there! Puppy racers! badum badum badum badum

There's also this one Frosted Flakes jingle that gets stuck in my head, though It's not my favorite:

Whatever it is I think I see, becomes a Tootsie Roll to me!

Yes! The Tony the Tiger song! I love sticking random people's names into this song. My favorite is the one I've made for my cat, Topaz (nicknamed Topie):

Oh! I just remembered this Pet Smart commercial. It shows this dog and its owner and the owner feeding the dog all this food over the coarse of a year. The song in the background goes something like: Gimme that, gimme that, gimme, gimme, gimme that, gimme that thing, gimme that, gimme that, gimme, gimme, gimme, gimme that thing....I don't know why, but I always thought it was really funny...:p

Then there's that "Put a Smile on Your Face" song that's had its chorus used in the Hershey chocolate commercials. I haven't heard that one on the radio in a long while, but I always got a kick out of the last verse, with the Jamaican woman singing through a very thick accent....

I know it's not the jingle for the product, but you know what commercial song I think is cool now? that one with Alice Cooper in it? I forget what it is advertising, but he's jumping rope with some little girls at the end of the commercial and singing, "My name is Alice, I live in a palace."

Have you ever noticed that over the years, McDonalds has been changing their jingles and themes a lot?

Here are the McDonalds themes I recall:

Food Folks and Fun
Do You Believe In Magic
What You Want Is What You Get at McDonalds Today
Have You Had Your Break Today
Did Somebody Say McDonalds?

I kind of forgot what the one for today is.

But isn't it amazing that McDonalds has their way of diversity? I'm sure other restaurants have their own way of changing their themes. Burger King seems to be making their breakthrough with diverse themes as well.

Taco Bell is another one that's gone through several campaigns...offhand I recall Rocky and Bullwinkle spots, the now-infamous Chihuahua dog, and Willie Nelson singing about "The Girl With the Rose Tattoo". Seems that one had at least one other fan--I recall a viewer asking one of those know-it-all TV expert guys with a column in some TV listing rag or other if they'd ever rerun those spots....
