I've heard that the next live-action Batman movie is going to be based on Batman Beyond... does anyone have any info on it?
Frankly, I can't see how they can pull off a stunt with an actor flying around with jet boots and retractable wings.
It would probably be better off if they just animated it! :)

They were gonna make one ( I think Dini even finished the script for it) but WB decided not to make it. I think it was the whole big budget issue. Probably cause they'd have to make a whole new futuristic city; then there's always the casting...

Not to mention the fact that BB is "dead in WB's eyes."

Hopefully the release of the uncut DVD will fix that. :D

WB thinks it wil sell more than the edited version, which got alot of bad press when it was released. I'm hoping this'll change things, too...
Much as I love BB, I want another ANIMATED movie. If it's live-action, everyone will be analyzing the character picks to death, like Aximlli mentioned, and it just wouldn't be Batman Beyond to me. I mean, before we had BTAS, we had live-action Batman, etc. All we've ever KNOWN with BB is the cartoon and the comic books. Give me another BB movie, but give me an animated one with Will, Kevin, Cree and the whole gang as the VAs.

Agrred. Animated is the only way to go with BATMAN BEYOND. Another direct-to-video feature would be just great. I just wish we'd get it.

Or better yet, another whole 52 episode order....

I am completely uninterested in live-action Batman movies. I don't trust them to do them right. I am only keen to see more animation from Bruce Timm.

Yeah, animated would be the way to go with Batman Beyond. Another 52 episodes and another movie would make my day ;)
~looks at his post count~ OMG! My first 100th post on this Message Board! Yay! :)
