-- Judge For A Day (Fleischer/Betty Boop)
Fav bit: the very Dantean punishments Betty chooses for public nuisances. She forgot one, though--people who leave their garbage out in the open on the curb for neighborhood dogs to scatter in other people's yards. They drive me mad!
-- Hello How Am I (Fleischer/Popeye)
you know, all Wimpy wanted was a few burgers. I think Popeye got a little too rough with him. A little self-identity questioning philosophical angst is healthy, after all.
-- Training Pigeons (Fleischer/Betty Boop)
Aww...that's an adorable puppy. Fav bit: Pudgy beats up the pointer dog in a painting.
-- Wanted: No Master
Very novel way of gettting revenge on a guy--switching photos in a newspaper. Almost Three Stoges-esque somehow. Unfortunately it comes back to bite Fido in the a** when her litter of kids from previous marriages come to dinner. Moral? Never date a woman who lives next door to a justice of the peace.
-- Fowl Play (Fleischer/Popeye)
Or, as I like to call it, "Popeye Gives Olive the Bird". Sort of mean of Bluto to pick on a defenseless little parrot, though. http://cwm.ragesofsanity.com/otn/animals/mparrot.gif Fav scene: Bluto rolled up in a link of fencing and hung in a tree--a turd in a guilded cage.
-- It's Got Me Again! (WB/Harman-Ising)
Eek! Ten million mice that all look like Mickey! Watch the old geezer mouse's gymnastics as the little micelings pass him by. Dig the eyes on the cat--kinda creepy, the way they seem to be looking right at you.

I haven't seen "Wanted: No Master" since the early days of CN when they had their "Black & White Christmas" about 7-8 years ago! Now if they'll only show "Jitterbug Follies" I'll have both of them for my collection.
