"Dexter Goes Global" Caps Worldwide TV Event with Two New Episodes
Boy Genius Takes Center Stage from Brazil to Belgium in Cartoon
Network's First International Programming Event

Cartoon Network's resident boy genius takes over airwaves around the
planet during "Dexter Goes Global," a worldwide programming event
dedicated to the hit series Dexter's Laboratory. For the first time
ever, Cartoon Network's global partners in 96 countries will air one
single programming event: "Dexter Goes Global." In the United States,
the 12-hour "Dexter Goes Global" marathon will be telecast Sunday,
November 18 from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. (ET, PT).

Fans around the world will vote online on Cartoon Network Web sites
for their favorite episodes of Dexter's Laboratory, and the popular
picks in 22 countries and regions will be unveiled during Sunday's
12-hour marathon. "Dexter Goes Global" online voting starts on November 5
on Cartoon Network Web sites around the world. During the marathon,
Dexter's Laboratory will be telecast around the world in 12
languages.

"Dexter Goes Global" will conclude with two new half-hour episodes of
the Emmy-nominated animated series from 7-8 p.m. (ET, PT) on Sunday,
November 18. In "Streaky Clean," a stain-removing satellite Dexter
has created disintegrates his clothes while he is at school. The boy
genius must make his way home for some new threads without totally
exposing himself. In another new short, "Sole Brother," Dexter becomes
fused to his sister Dee Dee's foot in a failed transport experiment.
These will be the first new episodes of the acclaimed series to air
since 1998.

A four-time Emmy nominee, Dexter's Laboratory, created by Genndy
Tartakovsky, is the story of a boy genius who creates fantastic,
world-changing inventions in his beloved, but off-limits laboratory, despite
the pesky interference of his ditzy older sister, Dee Dee. Dexter's
Laboratory, the first breakout star of the World Premiere Toons
series, debuted on Cartoon Network in April 1996.
