I LIKE IT!
Finally, a Courage season that I like. Let's see.. there was....
.......
....well, I guess I didn't like the first two seasons. Anyway..
"CAR BROKE, PHONE YES"
POSITIVES:
- AWESOME music
- New camera angles and rooms in the house to keep things from looking dull and ho-hum
- Muriel and Eustace dialogue that isn't quite so corny
NEGATIVES:
- It gets a little corny by the end, in the writing department.
- Courage's solution seems a little contrived.
GRADE: B-
-------------------------------------------
(didn't catch the second episode title. Stupid VCR. Uh.. the cowboy episode.. I guess..)
POSITIVES:
- The return of the burger-loving pig
- The wooden horses gag
- All new animation and environments. No recycled frames here..
- The walrus? The wintergreen mint?!
- Courage speaks like John Wayne!
NEGATIVES:
- The writing in this episode is not overly original. It screams spaghetti, but maybe they meant for it to be that way.
- The overabundance of Dilworth's name on EVERYTHING..
- The premise itself is very cliched. Dreaming about being a sheriff... man, I even saw a Johnny Bravo episode that did that.
GRADE: B
